Even EYES themselves were mutations. No mutation survives in a population unless it has some survival benefit (though often one recessive has a survival benefit, while two together don't -- see Matt Ridley's Genome for details). But really, to get to the point, mutations don't make morality. The only standard we have is whether human beings treat each other well. Neither blue eyes nor consenting gay sex harms anyone. Religions don't hide their doctrines, or even worse, charge for them. All donations are freely given in a religion, and not required for spiritual salvation.
