Yesterday we caused a big controversy with an article that pointed out that Colin Farrel was on the beach with seven month’s pregnant Minnie Driver over the weekend and could possibly be the father of her unborn baby. Driver gave three hints in an interview earlier in the year as to the identity of the father, but has otherwise left him unnamed, saying she wants to keep him out of the spotlight. The three hints included the fact that he was busy, was “sort of in the same business,” and was English. The English part was not directly quoted and seemed like it was an interpretation by the journalist. Colin is a Dubliner and in my infinite stupidity, I initially thought there must be some way that being from Ireland could be construed as “English.” I asked if there was anything she could have said that would have been vague enough to indicate “English” to the journalist, but to have included Ireland, and the best answer was “across the pond.”
As I mentioned in the comments, no offense was meant to anyone with my stupid question, and the main issue was that I was desperately hoping that hot Colin, 32, was the secret father of 38 year-old Minnie Driver’s soon-to-be-born first baby. That would make for great gossip as well as a super attractive child.

Alas, my willful misinterpretation of geography and a beach outing probably doesn’t equate to Colin’s powerful seed making a new life with Minnie. They were on the beach that day with someone else who I initially didn’t notice - a dark-haired woman who was sitting on the towel near where Minnie was standing. It was possibly an English writer named Emma Forrest, who has been named as Colin’s girlfriend of several months. Forrest and Driver are friends and Driver has even contributed to one of her novels.
But in the past six months the Irish hellraiser has found his soulmate — pretty English novelist EMMA FORREST.
The couple have been as thick as thieves since being introduced earlier this year by top film director MARTIN McDONAGH.
A source said: “Colin is a changed man. He has knocked the boozing on the head and is enjoying life in a completely different way. Emma has been a steadying influence and they have hit it off big time.
“They have spent months trying to keep the relationship under wraps because they are falling madly in love…
“They are planning to move in together in LA soon, on his next break from filming…”
Emma has had several novels published and earned quite a few quid. So any suspicions of her being after Colin for just fame and fortune are well wide of the mark.
Like Colin, she has had tough times in the past and has penned some seriously dark blogs on the internet about contemplating suicide.

If you watch the video of Colin and Minnie on the beach taken by paparazzi agency X17, you can see Colin hand his son to a woman on the towel at about :40 seconds in. I completely missed this part when I saw it the first few times because I was so focused on Colin and Minnie and my delusions of their coupling.
One commenter who went by “Jane” on our last post says “It’s def. not Farrell. I know for a fact. The father is a noncelebrity writer and they broke up months ago.” Her IP address was from Los Angeles at a major movie studio, so it could be true.
Sorry for running with this story so blindly that I forgot basic geography and didn’t notice an entire person. We published photos of pigs yesterday though, and I was desperate for any kind of scandal.

I was looking forward to increasingly outlandish theorising, with you latching on to the most obscure and tentative ‘clues’ (eg. Minnie wearing a green dress - green = Irish = Colin) and you presenting them as indisputable proof! I was all prepared to assist with it.

I believe Izzard is a bisexual cross-dresser. Although, I think he’s claimed the cross-dressing was just a gimmick when he was a stand-up comedian.

I just saw some Eddie Izzard special on cable, and he seemed to make a point of saying that he likes the ladies. And their clothes. In fact, I think he called himself a male lesbian. I believe that he also said he wants kids. Hmm. Is that enough to base a Minnie Driver theory on?

Kaiser/Hipp, Eddie is a transvestite. He has described himself variously as ‘just a bloke in a dress’, or ‘think of me as a lesbian’ - ie. not bi-sexual. It was never a gimmick. He ‘came out’ in 1991 as a transvestite - still cross-dresses - but has always refused to let it define him.
But I agree he’s a lovely possibility for the father, since Colin is now out of the pic.

Thanks for the info on Izzard, Geronimo and ak. But Geronimo - didn’t he also come out and say several years ago that he doesn’t cross-dress anymore? That his career was from now on going to be dressed as a man? Or am I hallucinating?
Also, I believe there’s a difference between being a “cross-dresser” and a “tranny hot mess”, so to speak. And I think Izzard would still be a cross-dresser.

Kaiser, he said something similar, but only because he was starting to become known in America and elsewhere and really wanted to break into acting he didn’t want to be defined by the public as “just a cross-dressing comedian”
He “came out” so that it couldn’t be held over his head and felt that after nearly 10 years, people got the point - he liked a high heel, waterproof mascara and a strong lip colour
Actually, I was warming to the idea of Colin and Minnie too. Ah well.

Eddie Izzard isn’t gay, he used to do his act in a sort of drag costume. If you watch the Fx show, the youngest son is a cross dresser as Eddie was as a child.
Anyway… Colin would be an odd choice to use as a sperm donor because his son is so profoundly handicapped mentally. It’s really a sad condition. I would doubt you would want to risk that, along with having a high risk pregnancy due to her age.

i saw a picture of emma forrest( looked liked her with the same facial feature as her) on dec. 2007 as was entering james tyler concert accompanied by colin showing her six to seven month pregnant (www.janetcharlton.com) so if it was emma then she must have a few months old baby at this moment.i heard rumour that colin is dating a pilot & he’s head over hills with her and can’t be apart from her for one moment who
is married(that is why they are trying to keep the relationship a secert)

The pregnant lady at the concert was his cousin and the married pilot story is complete bullshit made up by some sick “fan”.
In a recent GQ interview Colin said he was single and i truely believe he still is.
As i said before;In one week time he got married to Muireann McDonnell,got Minnie Driver pregnant and found his soulmate in one of her best friends.
I guess what i’m really trying to say is:
Don’t believe everything you read!!
90% of the stories are made up and the other 10% are complete lies.
I think when and if Colin falls in love he will definately let us know…

(May i remind you that while filming “In Bruges”,Colin and Muireann were still a couple…)

well i believe the publicity stunt is mostly for Colin because it would be so easy for his rep to deny he was married right away and not wait for the news to spread. I believe he dates randomly and convinces each girl she is the one and that they should keep it secret!That is him! And there have been some hints that , sometimes he still gets stoned. Sadly! I hope he finds his way to a nice relationship! -

jessica, as you can see whatever i said was correct, now we have to find out if emma has a toddler, if so, colin is the baby’s father, get on with it & find out if emma had a baby afew months ago or not, because i saw a picture of emma and colin existing a hotle with two other men on feb. 2008, it was obvious she was on her post pregnancy phase btw i don’t say something unless i’m sure.

this is the photo of colin entering the james tylor concert(taken on dec./nov. of 2007 which shows she’s about 6- to 7 pregnant) and then another pic.(the pic. i’m talking about) taken on feb 2008 (about 3 mons. later ) colin existing a hotel with a woman (obviousely in her post pregnancy phase ) and two other men.
the 1st picture showing her pregnant about 6 to 7 month and then about 3 months later(feb.2008) the 2nd pic. showing the woman in her post pregnancy phase but this woman has curly hair(in 2nd pic.) but you can tell they’re the same woman.

if emma never been pregnant before then she’s not our target, she’s some one they used to divert our attention from minnie driver, which happend to be her friend(quickest target they could find), i think colin is the father of minnie driver’s baby, time would tell, we just have to wait & see.
