Jennifer Love Hewitt went to another event with her cute new boyfriend, actor/director Alex Beh. I know I’ve made fun of Hewitt for oversharing in the past and have basically said that her career relies way too much on her personal life. I still believe that, but look at how happy and natural these two look together. They’re like two peas in a pod with their dark messy hair and superwide grins. It’s like they were making out in the limo on the way over. Kaiser is convinced that Hewitt is drunk in these photos (she wrote the title for me) and I’m seeing it in some these squinting photos definitely, but that’s the look of punchdrunk love mixed with a few cocktails. I’m happy for her.
That dress is just too much, though. Her boobs are nearly hanging out and the asymmetrical bodice is bedazzled with random bookmark ribbons and a monochromatic dream catcher as the pièce de résistance. It’s like she was scrapbooking pictures from a wedding and just stuck the supplies on her dress. The cut is so unflattering. It reminds me of a weird white toga thing she wore a couple of years ago, but not as pretty. Hewitt wore this number to a semi-formal charity event for “Virgin Unite and the Eve Branson Foundation,” and wasn’t wildly overdressed, but definitely could have gone with something simpler.
This week’s National Enquirer recounts a story I remembered briefly from last week. Beh admitted recently that he read Hewitt’s The Day I Shot Cupid book cover to cover in order to get tips on how to woo her. It worked out well for him obviously, and may explain why he’s brought her flowers every single day since they started dating.

I’m not a fan of the dress but she really does look happy. Most of the pics I remember seeing of her and Jamie Kennedy she was looking at him as if wanting his approval. And he always referred to hear as “pear ass.” So you go girl!

They do look happy together. But his nose is always red. It looks weird. And I’ll never forget what a tiny little gorgeous elf she used to be. I ran into her at IKEA in Burbank once and she really was minute in person.

That dress is seriously fug. I just wanna go up to her and hike the whole bodice up about 3in so it will (maybe) fit better. And the entire skirt is really unflattering and cheap-looking. I won’t even bother commenting on the ‘bling.’ Blech…

I’ve always liked her & thought she gets a bad rap. The dress is Ok, not great but not bad. Her face is like 2 shades whiter than her body and it makes her look like she’s about 40 years old. If I were famous and on the red carpet would I choose a face that’s too orange and done up too young, or too pale and aged? Apples or “oranges”?

I thinks she’s drunk in the pics. But I do hope she is happy with this guy & that it lasts. The poor thing has really had a horrific time in the love department — she started with John Mayer and actually went downhill from there — yes, hard to believe anyone could find a guy downhill from John Mayer, but poor girl actually did more than once!

I think she’s absolutely precious. Wasn’t she dating Freddy Prince for a really long time before the mega-boyfriend-blitz? Whatever his name is I had imagined they would have been together forever the way they looked so happy together. I do hope that with all that Alex went through to be able to ‘woo’ her that they are always happy; and able to work through it when they’re not. BTW, it does look like a baby bump in the side shot. Good for them if it is. I wish them the best.
