Jack Black’s heroin experiment and eventual new album

Jack Black is one crazy mofo. He usually seems like he’s on something, but maybe he’s just high on life and really is that crazy all the time. Either way, he recently made it clear that he’s not using heroin. Thanks to a bad experience after trying the drug one time he adamantly stated that he will never try it again:

“It didn’t agree with me. I couldn’t really feel my legs, and my heart felt like it was slowing down too much. I thought, ‘Oh my God, it’s going to shut me down. I’m going to die.’

“I went down to the 7-Eleven at the bottom of the hill, and I had this strange sensation that my legs were pumping, but the feet were just sort of lifeless stumps. I did a little shopping and then walked back up the hill and survived. And never did it again.”

Jack explained that a friend gave him a small amount of heroin and he decided to try it out. He had his old girlfriend with him and asked her to make sure he didn’t die from the experiment. At least he had an insurance policy there to dial 911. The “Tenacious D” front man also admitted to being a “wild teen” and abusing coke while sniffing glue.

Jack and his son’s Godfather, Kyle Gass, are cranking out another album from his mock rock band “Tenacious D,” but it won’t be out for a while. Their 2006 musical adventure, “The Pick of Destiny,” should have a follow up after all. The rumored lead song is titled “Death Star” and could come out in 2010. However, the year of 2012 has also been mentioned as a tentative release date.

“The songs we come up with are so stupid. We’ve got one good song – that’s it. I’m not going to tell you what it’s about, though. I’m afraid someone’s going to steal it!”

I don’t know what it is about Black’s shtick that makes him lovable. It is like watching a 9 year old in a 38 year old’s body living out a dream high on Mountain Dew and cotton candy.

I’m with you there, my seven year old loves the few movies he’s seen which star Black, (a wrestling movie and of course, Kung Fu Panda) which says it all right there. I think, for the most part, this is his fan base. That and teens and young twenties with the mentality of seven year olds.

Well, where is Dr. Drew when you need him to help out poor old drug addicted Jack since he knows so much about celebrities and “addiction” and how it is permanent. Sometimes you experiment as a “wild teen or twenty something” and realize it just is not for you and you quit before it ruins your life and it does become an addiction.

Can’t stand it when someone dislikes heroin and stays happy eh Hollz? Life is like that sometimes. On the other hand, Jack would look ever so much better with a shaved head, keep the facial hair.

He annoys the hell out of me generally but I have to admit that the photoshoot of him cavorting with tubby pandas (who look like long-lost relatives of his) cracked me up. At least he’s got a sense of humor, even if he isn’t as funny as he thinks he is.
