Khloe Kardashian on how she stole the family car and lost her virginity – at 14

Yesterday on The View, Khloe Kardashian recounted how she regrets losing her virginity at 14 to an 18 year-old guy she feels manipulated her into having sex. Khloe told this story in the new Kardashian biography, Kardashian Konfidential, and Hollywood Life has a more thorough account from the book. Khloe’s mom Kris taught her to drive a car when she was just 13 “so if one of our baby sisters had an emergency I could drive to the hospital.” Young Khloe proceeded to sneak out at night and drive over to this guy’s house for sex. When her parents found out they barred her from ever seeing him again, and Khloe said that she wished she’d never done it. She wants to warn her 13 and 14 year-old sisters and other young women that it’s not worth it to have sex so young:

Khloe Kardashian has shockingly admitted to losing her virginity to an older man, when she was just 14-years-old and RadarOnline.com has the candid interview in which the reality TV star admits she felt disgusted with herself.

Speaking out on The View, Khloe boldly addressed the revelations describing how she felt she was ‘persuaded’ to have sex with an 18-year-old man because she wanted to be cool.

“Yes,” she said, when asked if her startling admission she made in her new book, was true.

“He was only, I think 18, but from 14 to 18, now looking back I think that’s not a normal thing.”

Khloe – who was on the show to promote the book Kardashian Konfidential with her sisters, Kim and Kourtney – then talked about why she revealed the intimate details of her early sex life.

“I feel like I was almost conned, well not conned, but persuaded, because he was older and I felt I wouldn’t be accepted or cool or whatever.

“Then I do remember when I was done, I felt, after two months of secretly dating this guy, I felt so disgusted with myself. I stopped talking to him and actually didn’t have sex for three years after that because I knew I was young and I knew I wasn’t ready.

“I should have listened to my parents,” she said. “Don’t let anyone pressure you, it’s not worth it and how I felt afterwards.”

Whoopi Goldberg then bravely brought up the subject of protection, telling her guest – who is now married to Lamar Odom – she was lucky not to have become pregnant.

“Yeah, definitely,” Khloe admitted. “At that age if that man were to say, lets do this without a condom, I would believe anything he said, because I was so young.”

[From Radar]

When I was 14 a friend the same age told me that she’d had sex with her 16 year-old boyfriend and I couldn’t believe it. She even regretted it the week she did it, and told me to wait until I was 16 or 17. It just seemed so unreal to me, but I’m older than Khloe and I guess it’s more common now. You would think that Khloe’s mom Kris would take this as a sign to shield her younger daughters from growing up too early. After all, if she didn’t teach Khloe how to drive at 13 she might never have been able to sneak out and have sex so young. Unfortunately that seems to be far from the case.

This is the second Kardashian story on here this week. I’m sure there will be more stories about them. People can like or dislike them, the media and blogs keep them relevant. It’s just the facts!!!

Repulsive? I think not. Much too kind.

Festering pustule has a nice ring to it in this context.

fyi, the second to last picture shows khloe with her two younger sisters. the sister on the right, with the make-up, the heels, the cinched-in waist is THIRTEEN. that’s ten plus three, people. what is wrong with those parents??

14 isn’t that young if you think you are mentally ready and it’s innocent, consensual and age appropriate. I wouldn’t want my kids doing it at that age, but the reality is that they probably will, especially if they are as ‘mature’ as I was at 14-15 years old.

This sad story is much too common. Where are the parents? I feel sorry for teenage girls these days.

Khloe’s mom Kris taught her to drive a car when she was just 13 “so if one of our baby sisters had an emergency I could drive to the hospital.”

Other moms would just teach the 13 year old to dial 911, or call/run to an adult for help. There is a high chance of a fatal accident when a 13 year old drives her baby sister to the hospital.

So it’s no mystery why this family is so messed up- Mom thinks the appropriete safety precaution for her young children is to have the other still-young children drive them to the hospital in an emergency. Way to work that single digit I.Q., Kris!

And to whoever thinks a “mentally prepared” 14 year old should be able to have sex- what color is the sky in your world?!

That’s not a surprise…in reality, so many little girls having sex and getting knocked up at that age, it’s not surprising, YET it’s really really SAD. I was still playing with my barbies at that age and wasn’t worried about boy….but then again with this day in age, I guess to some people it’s okay for teens, (practically little girls) to have sex and dress like hookers….I mean dressing SOOOO “MATURE.”

I waited till 17 before having sex and I was one of the last of my friends to do so. All of my friends (including ones that were having sex at age 14) used protection and none became pregnant. None of us regretted our decisions as we were mentally ready and mature enough to make that decision. If all of you really think there is no difference psychologically and maturity-wise from one 14 year old to another, you are very mistaken. I was as mature at 14 as plenty of 25-year-olds I know now.

I know several girls who are 13 and on the pill. SEVERAL. It is more common for younger kids to be having sex, but it doesn’t make it ok. I applaud Khloe for saying “Hey, I did this, and it was a mistake.”
    Good for her.

Having sex too early is traumatizing. However, I would not be taking advise on when to have sex from a Kardashian.

That little girl on the right has a grown woman’s body and she is gonna give them hell just wait. Just seeing a few episodes with her in it makes Khloe look like a Saint.

My step-dauther is 12 years and 3 months old and she is still a child. She loves fashion but she also still loves her Bratz dolls and that is what she is still asking for for Christmas. Why are these girls acting like 30 year old women? And Kim even posted a pic of herself in a bikini at 14 yrs old. My other step-dauther is 14 and I couldn’t imagine her posing like that for the cameras in her bikini.

14 is too young to make a decision that you can never change. And why is it wealthy/privileged kids are always acting out with the early sex, drinking, drugs, partying, running away, stealing, etc. In high school the worst behaved kids were always the rich ones, is it because they have everything and don’t hear no? Is it because they take everything for granted? Idk but must have been a pretty large house if no one could hear the car starting/leaving the garage at presumably the wee hours of the morning.

I was a junior in college when I lost my virginity. 20 or 21, I believe, and even then I felt I wasn’t ready. Most of my girlfriends were 14 to 17 when they lost theirs, though.

This story doesn’t make sense. Why would someone teach their 13 year old to drive? That person would have to lack all common sense. Second, why would the mom teach Khloe- the youngest of the 3 older sisters- to drive. Wouldn’t she teach Kourtney or Kim? Wouldn’t Kourtney or Kim have already been old enought o drive- or almost?

Huh… everybody is always saying how little resemblance Khloe bears to her sisters (Kim and whatever the other one is).

But damn if the one on the right doesn’t look just like her!

Looks like those rumors about her not being her father’s biological kid are true…

@ Kiki, no way, not a loser. Smart Girl! I was 15 and pretty stupid. I was talking to my doctor about birth control pills now, at the age of 25. She informed me about all the youngin’s (starting at age 13) wanting the pill. I asked her what she did when they asked, her reply ….” I try to make sex look not appealing at all.” What is up with young ones wanting to have sex? Are we in reverse evolution?

Sorry but while I considered myself mature around 15 the honest truth was I was an idiot as all kids are and I’m glad my mother kept me out of trouble because there are worst things than getting pregnant, things like AIDS.

It’s kinda sad how girls are growing up today. I’m happy I kept hold of my childhood longer than alot of my friends. We’re raising women that think all they’re worth is tied into being sexy for men …

  30. The_Porscha says:

@Amanda: I learned to drive at 12, because both of my parents are from rural, small towns where that was just the norm. I obviously didn’t have access to my parents’ cars, and never even fantastized about sneaking out with one of the vehicles, but I think that goes more to what mindset I was in at that age. I didn’t even consider driving without my parents until it was time to get a license.

@Aenflex and @LittleDeadGirl – 14 isn’t mature. LDG is right – we consider ourselves mature at that age – and some of us ARE mature FOR THAT AGE, but that’s not the maturity required to make decisions with possible long-term consequences. The judgment part of your brain isn’t even fully developed until your early- to mid-twenties, scientifically speaking, so before then, it’s very hard for young people / adolescents to think it terms of actions to consequences, especially when those consequences seem far off or like they don’t apply to you. This is why car insurance is so expensive for young people, because they are more likely to make impulsive decisions, lack honed instincts, and lack the ability to make decisions in cases when the consequences aren’t as clear.

  31. Devon says:

Whatever you might think of her, she is doing a good thing by telling this story. Hopefully the young girls that do look up to her (shudder) will think twice about having sex so young.

My best friend in high school was 15 when she lost her virginity and regretted it big time. She told me it was crappy and she felt so wrong afterwards. The guy she slept with was a virgin too and it caused them to break up. I was one of the last of my friends to lose my virginity at 18 (almost 19) so there is nothing wrong with being a little late on getting the sex started.

If girls have positive female role models and parental supervision & involvement, things like what happened to Khloe won’t happen.

I was barely 16 when I punched my v card, and 100% ready (I was in college, so my boyfriend was 20).
I see a lot of arguing about when you’re ready. I personally think one of the best indicators of readiness is the ability to get protection without being shy or embarrassed.
