All right, I’m immediately suspicious of “supermoms.” No such thing exists. What they’re really talking about is women who are so overly involved in their children’s life that they cease to have one for themselves and their marriage suffers. As always, I feel bad for the kids that have to live with a narcissistic father and a mother who’s so insecure that she feels she needs a man in order to be happy. Is that any way to live?

While I would agree a woman who has had 4 marriages would know a good divorce lawyer when she sees one, I am sure C-Rod’s 4 attorney’s will handle the case to the best of their ability.

Let us not forget Miss Christy left Billy Joel for Taubman who she met while sking (the were in that helicopter crash together) she rushes into a divorce and quicky marriage immediately gets pregnant (such a smart move since you have already proved you are a bit fickle) then says he was a con artist. The wedding was ridiculous, on skis and then they swooshed down the moutain to their reception. ack.

Isn’t she saying similar things about Cook? The man was sleeping with the babysitter. He is a pig. But she is more concerned, it seems, with her image than the well being of her children. Two of which she has with Cook.

why are they making such a big deal out of sleeping with 35 people? I think that’s a little more common than people like to admit….

It was Cook who dragged that entire family through the mud by HIS actions.

Quite wrong. My mom’s no celebrity, but she was (and is) a supermom. She was always there for me and my brother, was loving (but not smothering) and supportive to us both. We are both in our 40′s now and still have a great relationship with her. She’s been a wonderful grandma to my nieces, as well. My house was always the one my friends wanted to hang out at, and they all “adopted” both of my parents because they were so great with them.

Oh, and as for not having her own life? Tell that to her boss of the past 20+ years, or my father, with whom she will be celebrating 50 years of happiness in a little over a year.

Just because you haven’t seen examples of a “supermom” doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Sadly, there just are not enough of them.
