    Sigh.

She’s dead to me now. I mean, I still love her, but I’m going ahead and making her dead to me so it won’t be such a shock when she really is dead.

I’m laughing at the living in a box bit but it’s still too close to the bone. I think she’s going to have to be dead to me too, Anastasia. It’s too painful to watch anymore.

I third that motion, except she’s been dead to me a long time running now. Terribly sad, but when the news breaks I don’t think anyone who’s heard of her will be shocked. She has absolutely no idea how serious her situation, nor does she seem to care.

She’s like a thirteen year old girl who thinks it’s completely normal that her life falls apart because her boyfriend dumped her or something, except Amy has money and access to booze and drugs and no sense of when things have gone too far.

I’m living this same nightmare with my son, but unfortunately he can’t be dead to me. Sigh. I won’t let her be dead to me either, although I’ve pretty much given up on her, sadly.

how tragic. i wonder what she’s living off of? adrenalin? coke? crack? i bet if she cut herself she’d bleed licquor. i kinda dont feel sorry for her because she’s well aware of what she’s doing to herself. i just wish she’d go do it somewhere where the rest of us dont have to see it!

I salute ANYONE that’s coping with anyone with a substance issue. Orangejulius, love your son, leave Winehouse be. Let God handle her, care for your child. Your power is for your child, not for an out-of-control millionaire, far, far away.

OT: There are spouses that have loved ones incarcerated, serving the military, hospitalized, etc. Amy Winehouse’s “Pity Party of One” is getting boring, tiresome, and frustrating. Instead of being a selfish child needing attention, why doesn’t she do some sort of charity to divert some of that negative energy?

somewhere where the rest of us don’t have to see it…would be where, exactly? She is a celebrity and therefore her every move is chronolized.

I listen to her Back to Black CD everyday and it’s getting to the point that I get actual feelings of sadness with this feeling that it’s probably the last greatness we’ll be hearing from her.

Hey people, whether she’d dead or alive to you, or singing tracks on your MP3, just be grateful she’s not living next door to you. That’s all I’m saying….

    Amen to Carrie and xiaoecho!

Can’t wait for the ‘performances’ for Oxegen in Ireland and ‘T’ in the Park at Scotland. Get your YouTube is gear, I got a feeling this is going to be as spectacular as my fave trainwreckular Winehouse YouTube performance from the Eden Project, 2007. THAT, IMHO, was more troubling than the recent Rolling Stone interview.

Orangejulius, hang in there, and apologies if we made it sound like an easy decision. It’s not, and I’m sure you know this only too well. Good thoughts for you and your son.

A small reminder of why Amy’s still worth the effort.

Hey British Bitch, you may be right, but what support is Amy’s family getting? Must be hell for them.
And I kinda resent that Amy has this gift of talent, and she’s just trashing it. Perhaps if promoters stopped hiring her, she might finally give serious thought to her life. But as always,it’s all about money. Notoriety brings in the dollars.

She probably lives in a rat-infested hovel at this rate. She probably doesn’t care where she lives and wants to take the whole neighborhood down with her.

I hear she keeps odd hours and has a penchant for ironing (as most crackies are wont to do). She could stay with me if she agrees to some light housekeeping and splits the cost of dru-beer. If she splits the cost of beer. And cable. :D

She better make sure that beer is sticky green and smelly though. That’s how Jaundice likes her beer.

Coke girl is at it again.

Kick her dumb ass out, and kick her dumb ass to the curb. Maybe that will wake her up to realize she is a one hit wonder waiting to die or end this train wreck so we can read about some real news!
