Is Cameron Diaz “strangely wrinkled” or should haters just shut their douche holes?

green_hornet_01_wenn3124390

These are photos from the Green Hornet photo call in Spain today. This junk doesn’t come out until January, so I don’t know why they’re rushing the promotional blitz, especially when they’re going head-to-head with awards-contenders. Beyond that, it’s nice to see the principle actors show up for the photo call – Seth Rogen has the lead, as the Green Hornet, Christoph Waltz plays the villain, and Jay Chou is the sidekick. And then there’s Cameron Diaz, who plays Seth’s love interest. I think Camy is an interesting choice for the comic book hero’s love interest: is it a smart move for an actress nearly 40 years old to take on the kind of role that’s usually filled by ingénues? Camy is a decade older than Seth too – is that awkward? Eh.

green_hornet_16_wenn3124405

Anyway, I was looking through the photos, thinking about how Camy looked pretty good – she’s just wearing jeans and a simple blouse, and I like the length of her hair right now, and her skin has cleared up. Then I saw this article at The Sun bashing Camy for her wrinkles – they say her “face was strangely wrinkled.” Like, “How dare Camy not be Botoxed to within an inch of life? HOW RUDE.”

Maybe I’m just a late defender of Camy, though. She’s been growing on me so much the past few years. I like her attitude, and I like her commitment to aging naturally. Should she take better care of her skin? Sure. But she’s still a beautiful woman – and I tend to think she’s more interesting-looking now then she was when she was “strangely unwrinkled.”

But if you want to hate on Camy, read this piece at LaineyGossip. You won’t like that version of Camy. That Camy seems desperate and sad.

  1. Rose says:

She looks a little like Ellen Barkin here I think.

  2. jen says:

She looks like most women who surf & spend lots of time at the beach.

  3. BW says:

She looks normal to me. The Sun is so used to looking at plastic that they wouldn’t know normal wrinkles if they wadded up their newspaper and tried to read it themselves.

  4. LisaMarie says:

She doesn’t look strangely wrinkled. That’s what aging is supposed to look like and she’d doing it fabulously! I’m sick of all the botox wax face starlets.

  5. Jane says:

Bleech. She is not pretty. She looks like a frog. Meanwhile, her aging looks natural, she doesn’t look like she is hitting the botox. Good for her.

  6. X says:

She’s stunning. Further, the older you get, the older you will look unless you get plastic surgery. For all those who whine about frozen faces, back off the Diaz.
    🙂

Beautiful, natural face and a banging body.

  7. Shawna says:

After her role in the mask it’s been all down hill for her looks wise. She hasn’t looked even remotely “hot” since. Her face always looks like it’s melting for some reason.

  8. ceenitall says:

I like the fact that she has wrinkles although I do think she is a little to old for this part. And just to make sure the passive-agressive tone of this is complete, she is starting to look a little like the Joker to me, but a prettier Joker.

  9. Carrie says:

I love that she hasn’t Botoxed and filled her face- hopefully this will start a new trend of fabulously beautiful women aging fabulously and naturally.

That said, she does spend a lot of time in the sun and hopefully she is wearing strong sunblock- not for the wrinkles, but for the protection.

  10. Ernestine says:

This is what happens when we compulsively tan, ladies.

Go back to the post about Winona, and then compare her to Cam. How many pap shots of Wino sunning herself on a yacht are there?

  11. Marjalane says:

Meh. I’m indifferent to her face, but the bikini pic’s with gross-out ARod, show a body to rival Anniston’s. What am I doing wrong?!

  12. NayNay says:

I am not a huge fame of hers, but I must say I think she looks great. Perhaps she should stay out of the sun, because it is bad for the skin, but hey, I think she’s got it goin’ on!

  13. sasa says:

I think she looks very pretty here. Plus- Christoph Waltz yaaay!

  14. Johnny Depp's Girl says:

    She looks great!

We can all wish we could age that beautifully.

  15. Kiska says:

I like that she hasn’t gotten ‘toxed to the max. She looks like a normal healthy 30-something woman.
For the most part, people forget that we are suppose to have lines on our face and not a plastic alien face like many celebs have these days.

  16. pebbles says:

    She looks great.
Would love to see the faces on the writers at The Sun UK. Do they look as good?

  17. sara says:

    @LisaMarie, @Carrie, @X

Agree with you, I’m tired of plastic ugly hollywood faces too. Wrinkles are much better than a deformed puffy face with no expression.
Camy looks her age and she looks amazing.

  18. koala says:

she’s almost 40… pretty normal wrinkles.

  19. sara says:

But she probably did something to her forehead because she has less lines there than before.

  20. hay says:

People who avoid the sun and wear spf every day have younger looking skin at her age. She’s known to surf a lot etc., she prob. didn’t take good enough care of her skin… Also emoting with facial expressions facilitates wrinkles – as an actress she has to do more of that.

  21. Lisa Turtle says:

Damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.

If Cameron had gotten a procedure to rid herself of her natural “wrinkles” then articles would be flowing whining about how she has immoblized and frozen her face like Nicole Kidman.

And you are concerned that its unrealistic for a 37 year old woman to be the love interest of a 30 year old super-hero? No comment however on how it is unrealisitc for Seth Rogan to date Cameron Diaz because he’s ugly.

    Women just can’t win.

  22. skibunny says:

I’m getting an Angelina Jolie vibe only with some weight on her bones. Very pretty. And a little skin color looks good versus the deathly white. We all need a little vitamin D.

  23. devilgirl says:

I don’t see anything wrong with her. I think she is pretty enough.

  24. guesty says:

she looks sunkist…very natural. good for her.

  25. brin says:

@Lisa Turtle….boy, you read my mind! Women are in a no win situation.

  26. JaisyMaisy says:

Leave her alone, she looks beautiful! And I think she’s aging a hell of a lot better than most women her age in mainstream America. I only pray to look that good at her age.

  27. paula says:

She looks amazing! I can’t believe I’m reading this…so we criticize people for getting botox and plastic surgery and now we criticize them for not doing it?? what is wrong with the world!!??

We women AT LEAST should stop being so hard on each other….

  28. mslewis says:

I think Cammy looks just fine. She is 40 and she spends a lot of time on the beach, which makes her happy. So what if she gets wrinkles? She’s never been particuarly pretty (certainly never beautiful) but she exercises and doesn’t use botox. I say, good for her.

Her career is a whole other story . . . she is far too old for a role like this. These things should be way in her past. She should be doing interesting roles that stretch her acting skills. Granted, her skills are fairly limited but she shouldn’t limit herself to role such as this or playing the girlfriend of a man 10 years younger; especially not Seth Rogan!!!

I would say she needs to up her game but, really, up it to what? Who is going to give her a juicy role in a great movie? It’s not like producers are beating down her door, offering her roles. She’s not the first name on their lips, I’m sure. I guess she’s taking what she can get.

  29. kat says:

When I saw her in Night and Day this summer I was captivated by her face because it actually moves and shows emotion. This is what almost 40 looks like and she’s doing it wonderfully.

  30. dread pirate cuervo says:

I don’t think she’s strangely wrinkled, but she is close to 40 & has had all types of peels on her pizza face. That’s gotta make your skin look rough. I don’t find her pretty at all, but she’s got a great body.

  31. Baby says:

I think she looks great.. I hope she skips the plastic surgery route.

  32. Bunny says:

She looks like a healthy outdoorsy woman, she is a surfer girl after all. I am glad she is not going the botox plastic surgery route.

I think she is beautiful and she is down to earth. I thought she looked hot as a brunette.

  33. lola lola says:

She is such a beautiful woman. “strangely wrinkled”? Nah. Just not 25–which in Hollywood must mean “strangely wrinkled”.

  34. Roma says:

My mother made a great comment on aging when I wanted to lean to surf:

Wear sunblock. Beyond that, live your life. If being in the sun makes you happy then realize the wrinkles you show later in life show your passion.

My mother is a wrinkly old(ish) lady but she has a love and passion for life. She taught me not to stress over the wrinkles I’m now starting to see at 30.

  35. lily says:

    @paula

    Exactly! Never good enough!

  36. Lee says:

    Re: Marjalane

I totally agree with you! And also, if you ever figure out how to get Anniston/Diaz body, hook me up cuz!

Also, doesn’t Anniston smoke? How the hell do you exercise all the time and smoke cigs? And don’t both of them tan? WTF? I think they both do yoga?

I would kill for either of their bodies.

  37. The_Porscha says:

The point is, she looks normal and accessible, and most people in that business do not, because they’ve got a million things working in the opposite direction. I wish they’d stop hating on her for some natural wrinkles. She could’ve gone the Nicole Kidman route and didn’t, so let’s golf clap for the woman and move on.

  38. irishserra says:

Take a vacation from the sun, Cammy. Your skin needs it!

  39. Funny says:

I have been told I look like Cameron Diaz since I was in high school…I even have the awful rosacea that has to be hidden under foundation. I also have those wrinkles around the eyes and I’m only 27 years old. But they are only around the eyes, same as hers. My theory? Laugh lines, literally. I smile more than half my day and I bet Cameron does too, she just seems like such a happy person. COuld be sun damage in her case but not in mine. Sucks that being happy makes you look aged lol!

  40. mln76 says:

I think she is much more naturally stunning I don’t think she is fad dieting or anything I just think Cammie is athletic and a true California girl, while I think that Jen has worked her ass off to get herself looking fab at 40. She is obviously not using the Botox like Aniston does. But it looks like they are about even in their dating life. I am so dissapointed in Cammie for going back to ARod he is almost worse than the Mayer.

  41. Kitten says:

She looks beautiful to me. Sorry, but excessive plastic surgery ages a person a million times worse than a few eye wrinkles (see Kim Kardashian).

  42. Bella Mosley says:

    Terrific Article by Kaiser.
I particularly enjoy someone who writes something positive about a person who is aging normal. Thank you Kaiser. I believe we are setting a poor example for our children that beauty at any cost is what is most important.
I am so in hopes those who bitch and moan about people who are plastic, their faces don’t move, etc are not dissing Cameron.
    I think she looks terrific.

  43. MaiGirl says:

I don’t think Cameron is too old for this part for two reasons. Her acting talents have always been modest at best, so she is never in the running for the kinds of roles that Naomi Watt or other actresses around her age are. We would never see Cameron playing a meaty role like Valerie Plame! Secondly, where are the critiques of casting middle-aged men in superhero roles? If a middle-aged-ish man can be Batman or Iron Man, than a middle-aged-ish woman can be a superhero’s love interest. The fact that Cam is 7 year older is irrelevant, and certainly mitigated by Seth’s lack of hotness, as a poster mentioned above.

Also, it is soooo nice to see a mobile face, even if it has crow’s feet 🙂

  44. Kim says:

I like Cameron Diaz but i have seen her in person a few times and she is not a pretty girl in person. She REALLY transforms on camera to a pretty girl but in real life you wouldnt look twice. Ive never seen someone look so different on film than in person.

  45. Kim says:

    Kitten – Amen to that!!

  46. Fauxhemian Delight says:

It’s great that she’s aging naturally. I wish more women in Hollywood would do that, but I suspect that despite the positive tone of this article, most of the media would show no mercy.
And while this is an interesting topic that deserves more examination, I am sort of confused about some double standards on this site and many others.

There seems to be a lot of love for Cameron Diaz and many consider her an A-list star, even though she can’t actually open a movie by herself. The Sweetest Thing, In her Shoes, The Box, My Sister’s Keeper, seriously, I mean isn’t it time she get the Jennifer Anniston treatment?

Her love life doesn’t seem all that different from Anniston’s either. How is parading Alex Rodriguez in front of the paps last weekend any different from the Anniston/John Mayer thing? Come to think of it didn’t Cameron take a ride on the John Mayer train too at some point? Right after her public flip-out over Justin Timberlake I think. And despite claims from Kaiser and the like, that Cammy keeps her love life private she happily took Mayer public after a night or two of sleeping together. There are photos. Same with the Maroon 5 guy. And isn’t the photo-op with Rodriguez conveniently timed considering she has a movie about to come out? Maroon 5 Guy photos coincided with a movie release too.

So, tell why we endlessly mock Jennifer Anniston and this one gets a pass? Personally, I don’t think we should mock either one of them. Sure, most of their movies tank at the box office, but they both seem pretty care free. They both like to hang out at the beach, sleep with lots of different guys, and I suspect, smoke a considerable amount of weed. That seems like a pretty awesome life to me. And, I’m happy they both choose to live their lives a way a modern woman should. Get married, don’t get married. Have kids, don’t have kids, who gives a f**k? But how is Cam any different from Anniston? And why does she get treated so differently?

  47. ziggy says:

nothing strange about her wrinkles- what would be strange is the lack thereof……i personally never thought she was pretty….

  48. mel says:

She looks fine and I hope she NEVER goes under the knife.

  49. Jeri says:

I think she got cheek injections, liked her better before.

Her taste in men sucks, Justin T and Jared Leto were two of the big loves of her life.

  50. Lisa Turtle says:

There are a number of commentators who fail to see the irony in saying that a 37 year old woman (who in real life was in a relationship with a man 10 years younger than her) is too old to be the on-screen love interest of a man 7 years younger than her.

  51. lucy2 says:

I give her credit for aging naturally and not going the plastic route.
I don’t think she’s as pretty as she once was though, and it has nothing to do with wrinkles or skin but just the general idea that some people grow into their looks and look better as they age, and some don’t.

  52. bluhare says:

So I went and read the Lainey link above, and my only comment is: Alex Rodriguez has a picture of himself as a centaur in his apartment? I hope she was joking, and if she was that was great.

  53. Bopa says:

She looks wrinkled but I give her props for letting her real self shine through. I’m tired of seeing chemically tight and plastic faces.

  54. Brooke says:

I’m going out on a limb here, but I think everyone (including Kaiser) missed the point of that snarky comment about her looking ‘strangely’ wrinkled. I think the comment was meant to point out the appearance of ‘bunny wrinkles’ in these photos, which are an indication of using Botox. [So you don’t have to google – bunny wrinkles are the little wrinkles on the sides of the bridge of the nose that result from people with immobile brows trying to emote by scrunching up their undereyes.]

While she was out the other day and didn’t appear to have any trouble wrinkling her brow, I would bet that she had a little bit done in the last couple of days to smooth out her forehead for her press tour. Look at these pics – her forehead doesn’t move and the bunny wrinkles are present and particularly notable in the top photo.

So, in sum, I think the snark was about the ‘all-natural’ girl being a hypocrite and taking an injection or two to put her best face forward for the cameras.

  55. mln76 says:

@Delight it’s all about Aniston’s pity party, I don’t give a hoot who she sleeps with but in her interviews she is always pulling the victim card. Cammie’s movies do worse than Aniston’s but she tries different things, I have never heard Cammie say anything in public other then that she is grateful for her lifestlye and what it’s afforded her. She may have bad taste in men but she is smart enough to at least fake it that she isn’t miserable and she has never presented herself as anything other than a party girl who doesn’t want to settle down/have children. She also isn’t toxing herself up. So yeah in my book she is more likeable than Aniston.

  56. Jaxx says:

These poor women can’t win. The ones who botox and chop themselves up are criticized and when they accept their aging faces they are criticized as well. I feel sorry for all of them. The pressure must be incredible and against a foe they can’t beat: aging.

  57. Bodhi says:

I applaud the fact that she is aging “naturally” (anyone who thinks she hasn’t had plastic surgery is fooling themselves) BUT her skin is terrible. I think that if she took better care of it (sunscreen as a bare minimum) she wouldn’t look like she is aging so much.

But she still looks like a smushed frog & I don’t know that anything could help out with that

  58. spinner says:

To me, it looks like her face has fallen a bit. If I remember correctly, she got cheek implants quite a while back. It looks like her cheek implants are sliding down. Cammie is one of those girls that looks gorgeous one moment & not so gorgeous another.

  59. Ruffian9 says:

    Lisa Turtle: ITA.

  60. k says:

Sun bathing and endless cigarettes, plain and simple. Natural aging? Try accelerated.

  61. bros says:

she definitely does botox in the forehead. she should have some forehead lines to go with the crows feeet and she has none. but i dont think she looks bad at all. she looks her age.

  62. Fauxhemian Delight says:

@min7 6 Other than the interviews she gave in the year after the split when her emotions were pretty raw, I honestly don’t see Anniston playing the victim card at all. “Sure I throw myself a pity party every once in awhile” is a quote from FIVE YEARS AGO. And I think that quote ended with “But I have a pretty great life.” After that she famously said: “don’t make me your victim.” In fact, many of her quotes over the years have been about her great life, and how much she enjoys it and enjoys her friends, and all the things her life has afforded her. The haters usually swing back with, “And what an empty life it is” etc.

She got dumped in the most public way possible while the press did nothing but fawn all over Brad. You can’t blame her for being pissed about that, FIVE YEARS AGO. And you can’t blame her for her fans being pissed about that five years later. That’s on them, not her. Anniston has done nothing but publicly defend Pitt. The only negative thing she ever said was Brad is “missing a sensitivity chip.” And the only thing she ever said about Jolie is that she was “Uncool.” Honestly, I think most people would have been a lot less restrained than that. And btw, both of those quotes were YEARS AGO. So where is this pity party you keep referring to?

Personally, I think people hate on Anniston because they would hate on ANY woman who refused to turn her womb into a clown car for Brad Pitt. Even a lesbian wouldn’t pass up an offer like that. And certainly no one on any of these threads would turn him down. But Anniston did and she will never be forgiven for it. But no one wants to admit that so they use quotes from YEARS AGO to claim she is still throwing a pity party. Meanwhile, Eva Longoria is about to turn her divorce and ensuing pity party into an entire career. And Cameron Diaz gets a free pass, even though she literally got into a very public fist-fight at an Oscar party and gave a whole slew of nasty quotes right after Justin Timberlake dumped her.

And if we were going to hate on people for toxing shouldn’t we take a really good look at Jolie’s face? The woman is 35, works 16 hours a day, raises six kids, is constantly traveling and miraculously doesn’t have a single wrinkle of her face.

  63. Cheyenne says:

Fauxhemian Delight: You can’t blame Anniston for the fact that the press always bring up her ex whenever they write an article about her.
    ========================================

The press wouldn’t keep bringing her ex up if she had said once and for all back in 2005: “Don’t ask me any questions about my ex because I have nothing to say on the subject. Period.” She and her publicist kept the triangle going because they knew that was the only thing that was keeping face in the tabloids. But for that, she would have vanished into obscurity five years ago.

  64. HakuraChii says:

I was a little startled by seeing any sort of aging honestly portrayed, and that’s… insane. I can’t believe we’ve become so used to the fake image that seeing someone looking *their age* causes us to double-take.

A lot of people also don’t seem to realize that Cameron isn’t 18. She’s a 38 year old woman who works and plays hard, and enjoys the sun. You have to have a lot of courage to be this ‘real’ in Hollywood. I respect her for that.

  65. baby says:

strangely wrinkled? no, more like normal and natural and i’d take her face anyday rather than look like a creeper like many botoxed celebs her age

haters SHOULD just shut their douche holes cuz bullshit comments like this are why women feel the need to do botox in the first place. sad.

for the record i think cameron looks really pretty in these pics

  66. Stephanie says:

She is a beautiful woman, with wrinkles that appear normal for a 40 year old woman who tans. I’m wondering if 5-7 pounds would fill out her face a bit?

  67. georgiagrl says:

Not a fan, but she looks great! The Sun needs to look at the women in the UK and then say something about this woman’s looks! The wrinkles are part lifestyle, part genetics. I’m 47, African American and have no wrinkles. Cameron Diaz looks very healthy and happy.
    Peace

  68. Fauxhemian Delight says:

@Cheyenne I’m sorry but wasn’t it just a couple of years ago that Jolie said: “We can’t wait to show the kids the movie where mommy and daddy fell in love.” Jolie is media savvy enough to know a quote like that will keep the drama going. Instead, people like you blame Aniston for saying that comment was “uncool.”

And earlier this year Jolie backtracked on the comment, again, saying they were just friends on the movie. Why not blame Jolie for keeping the drama alive too? She’s the one with the most recent comments on the subject.

Anyway, I’ve been reading this site for a few months now and you Cheyenne will defend Jolie until the bitter end when you aren’t clicking on Jennifer Anniston articles to slam her using Brad and Jolie to do it. Apparently, after five years you have had considerably more trouble letting go of the Bermuda Triangle than Jen has.

  69. Camille says:

@Bodhi: I agree with everything you said completely. And I lol’ed@ smushed frog- so true! I have never found her pretty, and in all honesty I don’t think she is ageing that well either, not when I compare her to the completely natural 33-45 year olds that I know in my life. But keep on keeping on Cameron, don’t go and fill your face up with fillers, that just looks worse!

Also- how the hell did this thread end up another Jolie vs Aniston bashing competition? Give it up- ALL of you!

  70. mln76 says:

@Fauxhemian Delight I hate to make this an Aniston post, but she has done several recent things that show that she is still on the pity party patrol I mean how do you explain the 5 years after Brad cover she did for People? The woman makes sure her publiscist denies every obscure rumour every tabloid prints but failed to respond to disabled people (and their families) who made several public complaints about her using the r-word on morning TV. And when asked why she hadn’t branched out of her crappy rom-com schtick she whined that no one will accept her in anything else. You are telling me she doesn’t play the victim anymore??? Come on.

  71. Mairead says:

Die-hard Cammie fan here, and I think she looks great: full of character. And she looks so much better now that the round of fillers etc. she put herself through a couple of years back has worn off. As many others have said, she looks like a thirty-somthing outdoorsey woman who has been in the California sun.

    BW: December 2nd, 2010 at 2:43 pm
She looks normal to me. The Sun is so used to looking at plastic that they wouldn’t know normal wrinkles if they wadded up their newspaper and tried to read it themselves.

To be fair the greatest irony is that the staffers of “The Sun” have never seen the actual sun, much less normal wrinkes, considering they have their heads firmly rammed up their posteriors much of the time 🙄

  72. Fauxhemian Delight says:

min76 you sound kinda bitter. People magazine is on the Brand-gelina payroll. People wrote that article to make nice nice in case Brad and Angie have another kid to sell down the line. But hey, whatever works for you. And the retard thing, give it a rest, Jon Stewart has used that word a million times. It’s in almost EVERY comedy that’s come out in the last twenty years. Take your fake outrage somewhere else.

Anyway, there’s no use in arguing with the loons. I should have known better. You’re right Brad had every right to cheat on Jen and dump her in front of the entire world because Jen is the most selfish, awful person who ever lived. BRAND-gelina are the greatest, most selfless, most awesome people who ever lived. And anyone who disagrees must be a a crazy, jealous hater.

Now let’s get back to Cameron Diaz. Camille, take it away.

  73. junipergreen says:

To the person who commented on how wrinkle free and amazing Jolie’s face looks…you must be completely deluded if you think she hasn’t had plastic surgery and procedures for her skin.

Cameron looks fine for her age. Perfectly normal. Granted, she obviously has spent a lot of time in the sun, but so what?

As for the unrealistic age difference for a love interest–pah! Time we get over that double standard. If it was reverse, a man older, and a woman seven yrs younger, I doubt there would be comments. Plus, age differences in relationships are not uncommon. So why not let that be in movies? Who cares?

  74. mln76 says:

@Fauxhemian Delight I don’t name call so I wish you would refrain. I think I know what forum you like to hang out on. As for People it’s a magazine that lives up the ass up every publicist and Aniston has a powerful one so there ya go. As for whether or not there was cheating why does it matter? I wasn’t there and niether were you and it happened 5 years ago. I don’t respect women who promote the idea that if a man (no matter how good looking or famous) leaves you for someone else for the rest of your life you get a pass on everything you do.
Cammie has had a few public breakup’s and meltdowns’ but she has never exploited them that’s why I have much respect for her.

  75. Jess says:

    I think she looks great!

  76. Shay says:

Cameron is a bit of a bimbo in interviews, which I don’t like and she thinks she is the male version of Warren Beatty with her conquests, which is so passe, but she doesn’t seem to be so wrapped up in her age because she is probably the only actress who isn’t overdosing on cosmetic techniques. Compare her with Nicole Kidman, and Cameron looks more outdoorsy than Kidman, who looks like she lives in an oxygen tank.

  77. Lisa Turtle says:

Frankly, Angelina & Brad have nothing to do with Jennifer.

Furthermore, Jennifer, Angelina & Brad have nothing to do with this post which is titled “Is Cameron Diaz ‘strangely wrinkled’ or should haters just shut their douche holes?”

  78. mln76 says:

@Lisa Turtle you are absolutley right and I apologize to all the posters for my part in the silliness . Cammie is wonderful, smart, and she was good in In Her Shoes, I also kind of liked her in The Scorsese movie she did way back. I don’t think her face is one bit toxed.

  79. Lisa Turtle says:

Hey mln76, I appreciate your honesty! And I understand that sometimes it’s hard not to call people on their crap when they go off on rants that you don’t agree with. It happens to the best of us. 🙂

  80. Bopa says:

When did I miss her getting the nose fixed?

  81. KateNonymous says:

Clearly she spends too much time in the sun. She’s also a smoker, though, right? Her skin looks like she’s a smoker. I’m not sure either of those help with “aging naturally.”

  82. Ann says:

She looks better than most men her age. Why criticize women for wrinkles when we give men a waiver?

  83. Dannnii says:

“Strangely wrinkled”? WTF? She is over 31 and spends time on the beach. This is what she is supposed to look like.

Prefer the original nose, though. I always enjoy noses and eyes with personality, and this lady has loads!!

    Fauxhemian Delight: well said

  85. Beachi 206 says:

If Cameron Diaz was walking down Main Street USA she would be so drop dead unbelievably gorgeous compared to the rest of us that it would be obvious then how truly beautiful she is–
absolutely love her and her natural style

  86. if her face is wrinkled then I look like a grandma (im 23)

  87. Alejandro says:

    Botox on forehead.

  88. Cheyenne says:

Fauxhemian Delight: wasn’t it just a couple of years ago that Jolie said: “We can’t wait to show the kids the movie where mommy and daddy fell in love.”
    ==========================================

Oh for Christ’s sake, get a grip, will you? She said that four years ago and Aniston brought it up two years later. What in hell was her point, if not to stir shit? She didn’t have to mention anything about Brad or Angelina in that Vogue story. The split was already two years old. She could have kept her mouth shut, instead of bitching and moaning all over again and making a fool of herself, letting everyone know she still wasn’t over it. That’s what I admire about Diaz; she’s had her share of romantic failures but she never whines or complains. She puts it behind her and moves on with her life and never looks back. Smart lady.

  89. Jag says:

Her forehead looks Botoxed because it’s completely smooth, like it wasn’t before. The lines around her eyes are laugh lines, and are beautiful, imo. The lines I don’t like are the horrible frown lines, like Mark Wallburg (sp?) has; no matter what he does, he always looks hateful and angry. The trend to have male stars in movies, and on the covers of magazines, to frown like that isn’t appealing to me.

  90. Boo Boo Glass says:

She looks like Joker these days

  91. malin says:

She doesn’t have botox on forehead, her forehead still moves. But you’re right, I saw some of her pictures, she had lines on her forehead before and now it appears with no wrinkles.

I think she uses the forehead fillers as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.
Botox injections are muscular, that’s why face after appears frozen and doesn’t move, other injections are under skin injections, they are used to fill lines only.

  92. Moreaces says:

I have always liked Cam, she seems down to earth, ageing normally, and thats a good thing.

  93. lrm says:

I dont think she would stand out at all on the street…but i live in so cal. i have no idea if she’s had botox or not, but i have a suspicion she has had surgery or other interventions…and they didn’t help.

she’s cute, but not beautiful. I can agree with the Aniston comparison on that front, as well as the lifestyle/mediocre acting skills, etc.

But ‘cammie’ [why do we call her that like she’s our friend? it’s cheesy and i feel like i am reading lainey’s lamey site]…obviously as better PR than Aniston-though both have very successful PR to be sure.

CD seems like a good egg-and she has said how she lucked out with shrek, etc. in her success. she’s down to earth, normal, seems fairly sane for hollywood….so i can’t dislike her. I like her in the holiday with jude law. otherwise, meh. and she’s NOT drop dead gorgeous.

I always find comments about her interesting on this site. It seems divided everytime-half the people think she looks orange or like the joker, and the other half think she’s amazing and ageing well…It’s very consistent and always seems to be divided evenly. Interesting. And I also find it interesting, how many posts are on threads w/her. She’s not that interesting-but we all like reading about her(:

  94. Kloops says:

Pretty. Some sun damage and definitely botox in forehead but she looks like she’s aging well

  95. original kate says:

too much tanning, and her skin has always been bad, but i think she just needs sunscreen. at least she isn’t a tight, shiny botoxed mess like angie, jen, nicole, meg ryan, etc. their faces are insane.

  96. san says:

Will you silly broads stop writing novelas? Look up the word “comment”. Or find a friend.

  97. Wiley says:

Who cares? She’s not a good actress.

  98. frewt says:

She’s lost the prettiness she had in youth and this is her mature face. Still good looking and a great bod but not as cute as she one was. Her skin is also too tanned and looks a little hard imo.

  99. CB Rawks says:

Cam probably wanted to copy Goopy (who tried to ruin Iron Man), and she hasn’t done a comic book hero movie herself since The Mask, so maybe she missed it.
