She is an outstanding role model for young women. She shows contentment with how she looks, which is almost unheard of in the famous world. Ok, so she has her father's chin. Remember Jennifer Grey and her big nose? She got rid of it and she was basically ignored and forgotten after that. She is happy with herself, and that is the best of kind beauty of all! Why are others spouting solutions where there is no problem? Rumer is not conventional looking...thank god for that. If she wants to be in the public eye and work in the industry kudos to her. The problem lies in the sad fact that there are so many brainwashed, ignorant people out there that believe you need to look a certain way to make it. I am not denying this fact but I wonder what would happen if we, as women and a society, chose to look beyond what is being fed to us as "beauty" and decided to define beauty for ourselves. We won't get anywhere near that as long as we continue denigrating our own sex because of something as superficial as not fitting into a certain mold that has been perpetuated and fed to us throughout our lives through magazines, TV and movies. That will not change until we decide to open our eyes and celebrate beauty in all its forms, especially the unconventional ones. I don’t understand what the issue is here?
