Kelsey Grammer, 55, is officially engaged to his girlfriend, a 29 year-old British flight attendant that he took up with behind his wife’s back while he was in New York for work. (Radar has a photo of the gigantic engagement ring.) If all we were privy to were the details of Kelsey’s infidelity, we might actually feel sorry for his wronged wife of 14 years, Camille. Instead, we’ve gotten to know Camille on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and many of us completely understand Kelsey’s motivation, if not the way he went about. Kelsey and his now-fiance, Kayte Walsh, confirmed the news through Kelsey’s rep yesterday. I assumed that these two were engaged for some time, as they were seen shopping for rings at Harry Winston three months ago. Kayte will be Kesley’s fourth wife, once he takes care of that pesky divorce from Camille, with whom he has no prenup. The couple recently moved into a bigger, more luxurious apartment in New York city.

“They are engaged. They never really announced it, they are very happy and very much in love,” his rep Stan Rosenfield told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
She was spotted wearing a huge diamond engagement ring on arrival at a train terminal in Washington D.C. over the weekend. They were in town as guests at the annual The Kennedy Center Honors gala.
Kelsey, 55, and Kayte, 29, suffered a terrible setback earlier in the fall when she had a miscarriage shortly after announcing that they were expecting their first child together.
Camille Donatacci, the actor’s third wife, filed for divorce in July citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce has yet to be finalized.
The demise of Kelsey and Camille’s marriage unfolded while Camille filmed the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. At the beginning of the season, Kelsey is seen leaving as the summer began to do a one-year stint on Broadway in La Cage aux Folles.
Shortly after his move, Camille learned that he had begun seeing flight attendant Walsh.
Camille and Kelsey were married for fourteen years and have two young children together.

So Kelsey was at least considering proposing to Kayte when he invited the paps to film them looking at rings at Harry Winston in mid August. That would have been a mere month after he filed for divorce. The guy doesn’t waste time. While it seems supremely dumb to jump into another marriage right away like this, I guess I can’t really blame him. Many people are surprised he dealt with that nasty piece of beef jerky Camille for as long as he did. It’s just sad that there are kids involved.

I guess he probably can’t believe his luck getting this young woman as a ‘trophy babe’. Regardless, I just don’t agree with announcing an engagement when you’re not even divorced yet… it just isn’t very classy, regardless of who the wife is.

I think he is one of those men who doesn’t care about the money. I don’t think there will be a huge fight. I think he will give Camille whatever she wants and then move on with his life in New York. The problem is that there are children in Beverly Hills who are still stuck with her.

so what Paul Newman wasn’t divorced from his first wife yet either when he got engaged to marry Joanne Woodward in November of 1957 and she like Kayte miscarried their first child together though inherited his three from his first marriage. of course back then it could ruin your career and Joanne’s particularly as she was nominated for her first oscar and went on to win it.
Kelsey is a dirtbag for doing it the way he did. not that Paul Wasn’t but at least he realized he had a wonderful woman by his side until the day he died. infact is was Joanne that reminded him he’d missed a Chemo treatment the day before and he refused to go and lay there in her arms and passed away. something none of Kelsey’s wives would ever do if placed in the same situation
One thing I have learned from all the Camille/Kelsey drama is if you are lucky enough to have two hit shows that go into syndication, you, and all of those immidiately around you, will be set for life.
Kayte really looks like she could be Kelsey’s daughter.
Hmmm…I don’t see how he can be “engaged” when he is still legally married. Seems like the two are mutually exclusive.
Anyway, what I don’t understand is how he (or anyone) can be in a serious relationship before the divorce is final. My niece is going through a divorce right now and her lawyer told her that she cannot date until the divorce is final, otherwise she will be considered guilty of adultery, even though they have been legally separated for a year (a one year separation is mandatory in my state before a divorce will be granted). Is that something exclusive to my state? Or are there just different rules for people with money and fame?
I can’t believe I feel any sympathy for Camille but I kind of do. At least wait until the divorce is final to flash some major jewelry! Regardless of how awful Camille is, she is the mother of two of his children. They deserve better than that …

Ugh, the spelling of her name kills me . KAYTE? She sure seems to love the camera.. eh. She just lost a baby so I am going to shut up about her.. but Kelsey, love him, he is talented and i have a soft spot for him since his life has been a greek tragedy and then some (sister murdered, etc..) but I think this is not a forever thing. I read Camille got involved with KG when he was engaged to someone else! So, um, i tend to look at history and that doesn’t bode well. Anyway, can’t hate KG he seems like a nice guy- just one I would never want to be involved with romantically since he seems restless:)
Camille is a horrible human being, but I don’t think Kelsey is any prize, either. He wanted a blonde trophy wife and he got what he wanted in Camille. It’s not her fault he didn’t bother to get to know her beyond that. I don’t think he’s going to find himself in any better situation with this new piece. In fact, she looks like a younger, dumber version of Camille.

I get really bad insomnia and last night I was up so I ended up watching 5 episodes of RHOBH-and WOW Camille is a piece of work! I just wanted to slap that smug look off her face when her and Kyel were having it out in NY. And the after show when she went into Kelsey’s dressing room-awkward! He was trying to change and get cleaned up and she just kept standing there talking. lol

Camille is in for a rude awakening. I wonder if she has watched herself on RHWOBH to see what a complete ass she is. She says she has kept Kelsey sober for 10+ years? Uhmmmm no, that would be Kelsey and his Higher Power. Camille is the ONLY housewife that talks about what she has; her homes, her help, her husband’s career. She is NOT famous she is so desperate, she rides on the coat tails of her husband..well, no longer her husband. She is truly just obnoxious and plays the victim.
