I like the purple hoodie in the middle…but the rest of it reminds me of that one kid in school who was always trying to be ontop of the “style” but in reality was a day late and a dollar short …

I wouldn’t buy any of this, EVER, but I suppose parents with tween girls looking for something age-appropriate that the girls will like will.

Looking forward to the day she fades away and takes her ‘unique’ style with her. By style I mean that psuedo-punk shit. And by shit I mean Avril.
Can’t stand her entitled, arrogant, bitchy self. I do however like that one song “I’m With You” - It’s a good song.

They already sell this exact stuff everywhere - I mean, Target has toddler shirts with skulls and guitars on them, so how cutting edge could that possibly be? These clothes are sad.

The hoodie with ears sounds like something I would buy. Not into the rest though. Punk is not my thing, especially if Avril’s selling it.

im lucky I have a boy… I cant imagine being the mom of a tween girl, with the clothes out there today, nothing is age appropriate. most of it makes the lil girls look like hookers.

Lavigne is the only “star” that hasn’t progressed or even change a little bit since she appeard on the music scene.Her clothes are the same, her stupid hair is the same and even her “music” sounds just like the first single….scratch that , it’s lamer.

Well…really, could be worse. I saw an 8 year old in hip huggers and a blue thong-at least this poseur gear doesn’t make them look like jailbait. I suppose he worse I’ll do is roll my eyes at all the loser suburban kids that think they’re “so punked out”

One thing she defintely is, whether you like it or not is smart. She lives in a 15 million dollar home in BH that she bought at the age of 19. You don’t get there without a modicum of talent. She also writes songs for other artists. I don’t particularly love her, but I wish I had what she has going on at 19/20. Hell I wish I had it now!
BTW for the target market, the clothes are fun. -
All of that doesn’t mean that she is smart. It means that she has really good handlers.
Originaly her recording studio/ manager wanted her to be acountry singer. They didn;t want her to be tagged as the next Canadian Pop-Country diva (a la Shania) so the decided to market her as the anti-Britney & cast her in a “punk” light
Bitch had no idea who the Sex Pistols were until a member of her band (poor soul) gave her one of their CDs for Christmas. WAY after she “made it”.
She is a fake of the highest degree. As pointed out above, she has’t evolved as an artist/ performer.
“Smart” artists/performers grow in skill & develop their talent. Avril hasn’t shown an inclination to do either. And thats why I loathe her.

as for the hoodie with ears? with some very basic sewing skills it would be possible to applique little ears and other cute personalized decorations on a plain hoodie. No need to drop cash on overpriced tacky trash.

Avril’s such an opportunity whore it makes me want to puke. She hated “everything” until she got recognition for that cliched-ass “Girlfriend” song. Funny how she has no longer a problem with winning Grammy’s and posing for glossy magazine photoshoots. It’d be about time she put a clothing line out as well.
Next she’ll probably get knocked up and squirt out a baby and then release a tacky perfume line.

I think Avril Lavigne’s probably overcompensating for treating her young fans like shit in the past, so she’s trying to convince everyone how much of a great role model she is.
And I’d rather my kid not grow up to be like her. What? Does she think that just because she didn’t show us her vagina (yet), that her poor attitude and close-mindedness is being overlooked? Please. “Role model” my ass.
