Amy Adams was spotted outside Good Morning America yesterday with her fiance, actor and artist Darren Le Gallo, and their nearly seven month-old daughter, Aviana. I think we’ve seen Aviana before, but I just can’t get over what an adorable baby she is – and she has her mom’s gorgeous red hair!
Adams is promoting her role in The Fighter, out December 10, in which she plays Mark Wahlberg’s girlfriend. She told Robin Roberts on Good Morning America yesterday (video below) that she took boxing lessons to prepare for her ‘feisty’ role but that her experience as one of seven siblings also gave her experiences to draw on. They showed a clip from the film and it looks incredible. There’s Oscar buzz around this film, and Amy has of course already been nominated for an Oscar this early in her career. She’s certainly made some excellent film choices and she’s one of my favorite actresses. I love how low key and normal she is without making a point of it.
On motherhood, she told Robin “it’s really really good, it’s fantastic. Aviana is here actually. She comes with me everywhere.” She also explained that she didn’t want her career to affect her daughter at all “I want her to feel that she has her own identity, and her identity isn’t caught up in what I do. That’s really important for me.” You know, we see so little of Amy when she doesn’t have a film to promote that it’s a real treat to watch her interviews. She’s always impressed me.

Yeah but other celebrities want us to believe that the only way they’re able to work is with paparazzi following them around constantly. She seems like she has a relatively normal life just working.

I kind of love Amy Adams. I don’t know what it is about her but she just seems very grounded and personable. She is a fantastic actress too. I think I have probably seen almost every thing she is in even the craptacular Leap Year. She seems to be kind of a less control freak Reese Witherspoon if you know what I mean. Oh, and her daughter is adorable.

I have a girl crush on Amy Adams. I think she is a fantastic actress and she is naturally beautiful.
Aviana is hands down the most gorgeous baby of 2010. she so reminds me of a cross between Amy and Lucy Dahl which isn’t a bad thing Lucy comes from great hollywood stock her mother was academy award winning actress Patricia Neal who had a 64+ year career. Amy so reminds me of her in the grace department and like her I’ve never heard Amy say anything abismally negative about any of her co-stars and obviously cares more about family than fame.

She is really growing on me as an actress too. I like the actors that stay out of the spotlight other than when they have to promote, I get so bored seeing the same ol famewhore people, whoring it up!

The fiance, not so much. Rumours abound he has no desire to get married and only proposed due to an Amy ultimatium and plans to stall as long as Amy will let him. I don’t even think wedding plans are underway.
Amy Adams is absolutely one of my favorites, ever since Junebug. Pleasant disposition, no tantrums, very well liked on movie sets. If she gets an Oscar nom for The Fighter (I hope, I hope), it will be her third. Almost in overdue territory. Lookout, she is supposed to play Janis Joplin in a bioflick coming up. More Oscar bait. I think it was Meryl Streep who said Amy had amazing focus. She could be talking to you about baseball scores and two minutes later the director yells action and she gives you tears.

She’s my favorite actress. She’s enormously talented, beautiful inside and out and down to earth. I try to see everything she’s in (although I did pass on Leap Year) and I’m looking forward to The Fighter.
OH Lord this girl is an ego maniac! In every interview she comes across as a self important ego maniac. Dont belive her “shy” act – In person she is a bbeeaaatttccchh as most who have worked with her will willingly tell you.
And why?? She is a mediocre actress at best. Her accent in the Fighter is laughable! Shes a dinner theater actress who got lucky with 1 good role.
Amy is a great actress and unlike most her age tries to avoid the press. Darren isn’t stalling the wedding first they put it off because of her work schedule then because she didn’t want to get married while she was pregnant. they’ve been together nearly a decade and engaged 2 1/2 years. promoting a film you can’t avoid the Paparrazzi

Amy Adams has been in some SUCKY movies but in decent films like Junebug where she had a chance to show her stuff, she just blew me away. I like the fact the she seems somewhat low key and not “packaged” like many Hollywood actresses.
