Lola; I certainly would never say that people should never divorce no matter the circumstances.
What I am pointing out is that it is, proportionately, the woman who is left with the majority of responsibility for the children.
That there is definately a double standard about what is acceptable behaviour for a man as a father and a woman as a mother.
And, that it is all too easy for the guy to walk away–and have a good time–while the woman is left to pick up the pieces.

The public flaunting of this relationship was tasteless. Never should have happened.

But who was inside of the Getty marriage? Who knows what was going on? I am not going to cast stones from my glass house. I don’t blame him for leaving, but I do take issue with the insensitivity he has appeared to have over the feelings of his ex. Keep it under wraps.

I don’t think a man is bad for leaving when there are children involved. In fact, I think it is pathetic when 2 people stay married and make themselves and everyone around them miserable “for the sake of the kids.” I grew up in a family like that – no love. I would rather my parent’s have had the courage to move on and find happiness.

That being said – Balthazar did not go about leaving in the right way, from what we know. Best to have dated on the “DL” until filing for divorce.

You know, I’ve been married to a wonderful man for 13 years (neither or us were married before) and have 2 beautiful children and he’s a great husband and father. So why do I want to go balistic every time I read about this piece of s**t and his piece of a*s? I feel the same way about Tom Brady, who dumped his girlfriend while she was pregnant with his child so he could have the ego-boosting-supermodel-arm candy. I CHEERED whenever that jerk got sacked on the field.
Maybe it’s something about the fact that the woman is the one (9 times out of 10) who has to cope with being a single parent, while daddy is boffing his latest blonde on the beach.
About leaving your family when your child is only a baby.
That men feel free to walk out–people consider Blatherer a bad father for “embarassing” his children with his affair, but nobody is saying he’s a bad father just for leaving.
But imagine if HE were at home with the kids and it was his wife out publicly boffing some hot young stud?
She would be vilified as an atrocious mother who abandoned her kids.
The double standard makes me furious.

It might have been a nice thing to actually apologize for embarrassing his family… he admits it but doesn’t actually say it. He couldn’t bring himself to do that one small thing. What an incredibly selfish human being.

I feel so sorry for this woman.Getty really is a douche, I mean ok you’ve separated from your wife( she doesn’t know it’s 100% over, but hey that’s life ) and you wanna have a nice time with a prostitute aka slutty siena (stage name), but dude do it inside of a room, close the damn windows , show an ounce of respect for a woman you loved once and more important for your 4, I repeat 4 kids..fu, getty!

Sienna’s a homewrecker. Jude law was still married to Sadie Frost,and with a brand new baby even less than 8 months old when she moved in on him. I sense a pattern here. Her PR people played it off in the press that Jude and Sadie were already separated. But they were not.

In those pics circulating of Sienna and Bathlazar (the ones on the boat) SIenna’s Mom Jo is one of the people on the boat. The blonde lady who has sunglasses on (not the one who was taking pics.) Whenever Sienna is moving on some major money, the mom supports her and accompanies the lovers to many dates. Its just kind of sick IMO.

I don’t believe for a second that he is embarrassed. It is obvious that Sienna and Balthazar were flaunting their ho-fest in those topless photos.
I bet that he is just worried about his show’s ratings now that his true colors have come to light.
They deserve each other.
