… I’m confused… where did this article state or imply that she was currently pro-choice or was endorsing freedom of “choice” via that statement? To me, it would appear that, if anything, she expresses REMORSE for her decisions to abort her children. Which, by the way, describes MOST women who have had an abortion, no matter how many pro-choice organizations claim otherwise. And (Jersey Girl) just because something is common, does not make it right or okay. There are places on earth that female genital mutilation is common. Does that make it okay? How about child prostitution, rape, cannibalism?? Just how common does something have to be before it becomes “okay”? The same goes with legality. Just because something is lawful, does not make it right. Lest we forget, once slavery was legal, too. Like abortion, its reasons were practical, financial, and societal. And like abortion, the victims did not have a say because, as with abortion, they were considered less than human, with “experts” testifying to their “inferiority.” And like abortion, it was WRONG.

However, people make mistakes, so those who have been name-calling should remember that she is talking about a period of her life that is PAST, and that she apparently looks back on with regret. Thank God we all have the privilege of second chances. (Even if we are not the brightest bulb in the marquee, lol…)

Well since all of you know better or have a better view on her life than she does about what was right or wrong for her. I wonder which of you live in the glass house that never gets stones thrown at it. We all make decisions in our lives that one or the other may agree or disagree with, but who has the right to judge. From my knowledge none of us. We are mere dust and not one breathing can save another ones soul. We should spend more time trying to uplift the lowly with love and compassion and try to educate them on the narrow path outlined by Jehovah God by means of the teaching of his son Jesus Christ the only one worthy of a ransome for our sins.

OK. We all know that abortions should not be used as birth control however people/women have them.

Sherri admitted to something that tons of thousands of women do everyday. From teenagers to middle age to white to black to the educated and non educated woman are using abortion services as needed. Sherri admitted to something 95% of woomen that have this done would not publicly admit!

Now was she smart about admitting this is something we could discuss because on certain levels she can be judge as everyone seem to be doing or she can be used as an example and spokesperson to help other young/old women that are in her predictment.

I not surprised that most on this site think abortion is not a bad thing. Lauri if that’s the way you feel about it you should investigate further. Pro Choice does not mena choice to give the baby up for adoption. It means abortion. Prolife means give the baby up.
That picture was taken in 2008, somehow I don’t think she is a christian.

For once I am speechless-well- speechless and horrified. I really don’t like anyone on that show- I have no idea why I watch- sort of like a trainwreck- i guess. Anyone else want to bet Bill and Barbara are burning up the airwaves negotiating her exit date?

My first thought was if you got pregnant sooo many times in the past how come you had to take fertility treatments to have your son!!
Bottom-line Abortion is not birth control!! She has showed her ignorance one to many times. I bet she will be crying about it today on the view. Keep your mouth shut if you don’t want to be judged on your stupid comments.

You’ve never heard of a Christian tryin to save a Jew? Really? Where do you live, I’d like to move there. Because where I live in the Bible Belt, I swear us Jews have bounties on us. The street preachers get extra points if they bring one of us in, I think. There’s even “Jews for Jesus”, which is pretty much an oxymoron. They’ll never take me- bagels and schmear taste better then grits. (Though I do enjoy cheese grits if there’s enough pepper and cheese in them.) Just saying.

o.k. I actually think she did a brave thing in sharing that and in a way made a better choice than having many children that she cannot raise to men who did not choose to become fathers.

Yes, she should have opted to using birth control, but once she discovered she was pregnant, her choice was right.

She didn’t say she has had more abortions than she can count like she was bragging or something. The quote says she’s had more than she’d like to count. There’s a big difference in the wording. One could be more than she’d like to count. I love the way that everyone automatically is assuming the worst here.
