why would someone wait a day to ‘file a complaint’. this sounds like it was done with malice to cause embarrassment. if someone was truly ‘alarmed’ they would report the incident immediately.

This sounds like mommie has some problems and isn’t getting any attention. Bale is yummy. All accounts are that he is a great guy and a good family man.

It isn’t the family you come from but the one you make that is truly yours. We all grow up and have our own families maybe Mommie is feeling a little left behind in all the dark knight hoopla

He does come across as ‘holier than thou’ in EVERY aspect ….does he believe he’s REALLY Batman? probably so.. arrogant bastard.. i don’t like him even if he didn’t slap his momma !

yeah scott, because we all know no one violates protective orders (dont presume I dont know anything about them, you have no idea). the problem with those is that they are so unenforceable in many cases. i realize there are cases in which people lie or take advantage of the situation, but that doesnt mean there shouldnt be a law requiring police to do due diligence about verbal threats and abuse. the law of unintended consequences swings both ways.

I’m not assuming anything about Bale until details come out. My first instinct is to believe that he and his family got into an argument, and they thought the best way to get back at him would be to ruin his movie premiere.

Whatever, he would have to do a hell of alot more than yell at his mom (which I have done plenty of myself) to make me not a fan.

Bentley – in England you are “arrested” even if you’re only there for questioning. So, yes, technically, he was arrested.

To be fair it would need to have been one hell of an argument and some really serious threats made. But every allegation must be investigated to be ruled out.

Perhaps the police in your state are very vigilant – but here and probably in many parts of Britain, just calling the police to say that your neighbours are fighting won’t get them to come running.

I only wish that were the case – having to listen to the useless fu*kers next door howling at each other at 4.50am on a Sunday morning and hearing things walloping off the wall isn’t exactly pleasant. If nothing else the bastards would be kept quiet for a few hours.

Sources directly connected to the Christian Bale case tell TMZ there was physical contact between Christian and his mom, but it amounted to next to nothing.

We’re told Bale pushed his mom out of the way during the altercation. She was not hurt and did not fall down. There’s a division of opinion on whether the contact was a “push” or a “brush.”

It seems what was hurt most during the confrontation were feelings … nothing more than feelings.
