These are some new photos of George Clooney in LA yesterday, riding around on his motorcycle with his (boy)friend. Clooney has been in LA for a little while now, which comes as a surprise to me – I thought he was back in Italy, having crazy, kinky sex with Elisabetta Canalis, something involving whips and handcuffs and broken bones. But no, they’re in LA. People Magazine even had a friendly little piece of PR about the couple that sounds like it came from Elisabetta:
George Clooney and girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis enjoyed a low-key date night at Studio City’s Chi Dynasty. The pair walked in holding hands, and once seated, shared lettuce cups, egg rolls, chow mein and orange chicken, as well as some chardonnay and sake. “They laughed a lot throughout their meal, and continued holding hands,” a source tells PEOPLE, adding that Clooney was “a great tipper.”

When I read “They laughed a lot throughout their meal, and continued holding hands,” I thought for sure the source was Canalis. Then when I read that Clooney is a “great tipper” I knew for sure that it was Canalis!
Seriously, how much does Clooney look like the poster boy for midlife crisis on this bike?

I didn’t know there was an age limit for riding a motorcycle. I thought it was a strength limit. When you’re too weak to hold up the bike, garage it. He looks like he’s doing ok.
GC’s never had lips, but a big chin, and now they’re coming home to roost = he’s getting “jowl-y.” Eh, that’s what aging people do, a rarity in HW.
And I’m sorry, but even I gotta let my boyfriend’s (GE-RAWR-D BUTLER) hand go when I’m chowing down.

of course. of course he held her hand while they were eating dinner. otherwise, she needs 2 hands to use her blackberry, in order to alert her minions as to what she’s doing that is so very important every second of the day.
Re the source, its very odd but the first mention of dinner at Chi actually came via a twitter from the restaurant themselves , self promo stuff with menu details and that was Friday night not Saturday as many of the sites are listing, there was no mention of Canalis being there at all. Then suddenly outlets start plumping it up with the girlfriend/big tipper angle and no pictures.
Its almost 3 months since they were together at the Armani show in Italy and since then George has been ‘seen’ with her only once at the Kennedy award thing in NY, she flew in from Italy and then right out again, that was the event where the picture above was taken.
I wondered about that. The restaurant is brand new to Studio City. I think the restaurant was trying to lure in some business and the story was twisted.
