I'm assuming this is what the questioning was all about. I mean...sure, it's possible that Bale is just a completely unpleasant jerk who treated his mother like crap. What I find more likely is that his mother used an acid tongue on a very important day, and Bale fired back verbally...and then the witch went to the cops after it was all over. The fact that his mother would do that (and then say nothing to make things easier for him, except that it was a "family matter") tells me a lot about her and their relationship. I won't say my sympathies are firmly with Bale (who strikes me as intemperate, rude and full of himself), but I don't condemn him, either. There was a severe ruckus, presumably with Bale having been seen to push his mother or overheard threatening her or the sister. Both parties may have been instructed to head to their nearest police station within a set timeframe to make a statement. If he had gotten much worse the police probably would have arrested him then and there, but he hasn't been formally charged. He's done a lot of great movies and has been working since he was 13 years old. How many child stars can we say turned out this good? ...not many. He has been looking so tired and stressed out. I feel for him. I'm not sure if he is preparing for another movie that requires him to be a certain weight but he has been look a little slim. I hope he's doing alright.
