She had something as a kid and like the thousands of child actors before her, can't do it as an adult. Any movie where she plays a grown-up is an unintentional comedy. This relationship is the last card she has left in her played out career. If she hadn't gone lesbian, nobody would be talking about her at all, which is how it should be. I think Robert Altman cast her strictly because of her then perceived box office clout, not because of some earth shattering talent.

She's extremely beautiful and unique-looking, and I personally really dig her freckles. And she hasn't gone berserk with the tanning lotion for a while, now, her sskin looks healthy and even and she just seems to emanate a warmth and glee from within, for a change. She's not constantly furrow-browed; she really does come alive when she smiles from within. I absolutely agree, LefsaFan.
