Well, it didn’t take long for yet another layer to be added to the Lindsay Lohan debacle. First, there were stories about how she had a “stalker” and that’s why she had to be moved out of the Sober House. Then, yesterday, TMZ reported that Lohan’s roommates were busted drinking, and somehow Lindsay got caught up in it and that was the real reason she was moved to another facility. Now, this morning, Radar reported that Lindsay was accused of drinking again, then she was tested, and when the tests came back clean (really?), she got abusive with one of her Betty Ford minders. Here’s more from Radar’s version:
Lindsay Lohan has been moved to a new location after a clash with a Betty Ford Center staffer who tried to reprimand the Mean Girls stars after she returned late to the sober house one night, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.bbWhile some reports had suggested Lohan was moved back to the center’s main treatment facility amid fears for her safety, the real reason behind the sudden transition was a major blow-up with a staff member, believed to be a resident technician.
“Lindsay was moved to another property owned by the Betty Ford Center in order to preserve her safety, yes, but also to deal with any differences she might have had with anyone in that house,” said a source, familiar with the 24-year-old’s treatment.
The clash occurred in the wake of a booze fueled party which was supposedly hosted by Lohan’s roommates over a week ago. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the actress’ father Michael said Lindsay was getting her hair done “while the other two girls went their own way”.
When the actress returned to the house just 10 minutes after her curfew, the technician ordered her to undergo a drug and alcohol test, which she passed. However, Lohan was so angered with her treatment she confronted the staffer.
“Because of the way last Saturday night’s incident was treated, Lindsay had an obvious clash of personalities with one of the staff at the house,” said the insider. “Between the incident with the apparent stalker and this difference of opinion, Lindsay was moved to another location to remove her from a potentially hostile environment that had the potential to undo all the good work that she has achieved in her recovery.”
While Lohan’s once estranged father Michael refused to comment when confronted with the reason behind the house-swap, he insisted to RadarOnline.com that his daughter’s recovery had not been compromised. He also rejected reports she was now undergoing intensive therapy and supervision.
“It’s important to note that Lindsay’s sobriety has not been affected in any way and her resolve to beat her addictions is stronger than ever,” Michael told RadarOnline.com. “If she had violated any rule, in any way, she wouldn’t be getting out on January 3 nor would she have a spotless record at the Betty Ford Center.”
The reformed wild child was said to have left the facility following reports she has been receiving strange phone calls, with Britney Spears’ former manager/companion Sam Lutfi alleged to have been in contact with her.
While Lufiti has been in contact with the actress, the Lohan patriach said he was not the stalker.

Yeah, the unnamed source who spoke to Radar smelled like tequila and menthol cigarettes, so we can be sure what version of events is being pushed, and Mother Crackhead would like us all to know that we are ALL FIRED, BASICALLY. Anyway, TMZ also has a report about this alleged incident, and it appeals the whole thing is much worse than Radar’s “sources” claim:
Lindsay Lohan is a suspect in a criminal battery investigation and the alleged victim — a staff member at Betty Ford — wants Lindsay prosecuted … this according to law enforcement sources.
The Palm Desert Police Department is now investigating an altercation that occurred after Lindsay and her roommates reportedly went to a bar and came back home. Upon arriving at the house, the incident with a female staffer from Betty Ford allegedly went down.
The police received a call at 1:03 AM on December 12 for “hand-to-hand battery.”
Cops came to Betty Ford after receiving the call and interviewed both the staffer and Lindsay. We’re told the staffer “desired prosecution.”
We’re told when the police finish the investigation, the case will be forwarded to prosecutors for review.

So Lindsay, in some kind of crack sober rage, smacked the f-ck out of a Betty Ford staffer. Shocking! BUT SHE’S JUST A CHILD. No, who wants to place a bet that while Lindsay was smacking the staffer, she was screaming “Don’t you know WHO I AM?”
UPDATE: More wrinkles. If Lindsay is charged with battery, she could do jail time. Maybe even six months. What will it take for this crackheaded bitch to get three strikes? I have no idea. Anyway, TMZ also has a more Lohan-friendly story about what happened in her crackhead mind. According to “friends” - Lindsay did not strike first, but she did “push back”. The staffer was treating Blohan “unfairly” after Blohan arrived “12 minutes late” for curfew. When the staffer told Lohan to take a drug and alcohol test, their exchange became “heated” and the staffer “put her hands on Lindsay.” Probably to get Blohan to settle down, considering she was probably high as kite. Lindsay claims she told the woman, “Take your hands off of me” and then “pushed back.” So… did Lohan ever have that drug or alcohol test, or did she just come up with a quick crack hustle to avoid the test by becoming physically abusive towards a staff member?
UPDATE #2: Oh, and TMZ is now reporting that Lindsay “will” file a formal complaint against the woman who abused her so badly, and that Lindsay is asking the Clinic to fire the staffer. You know this stuff happened almost two weeks ago, right? If Lindsay was so upset with the way she had been treated, wouldn’t she have already filed a complaint?

It won’t come out how Lohan really tested UNTIL she is in court,and it becomes a matter of public record. The girl doesn’t want to get out of trouble she only had what 6 weeks till the end of probation. I hope they put her in a room somewhere for 2 or 3 years until she is clean and sober by then everyone will have forgotten about her.

If the tests showed she didn’t drink than maybe she didn’t drink. This girl and her overshadowed discolored photos should be left in peace. Recovery is rough enough … emotions get easily strained during withdrawal (which takes months, if not years). Alcoholism is a sickness. Addicts often drink to settle their general dis-ease with life. Because they drink to settle the discomforts within, they often seem crazier and more emotional during the first few months of recovery.

we know, and the staff know, she’s not ok. her reactions are not of the norm. yet this situation was allowed to spiral so out of control the police were called?
I’d be asking where the breakdown in staffing occured. surely they are trained to deal with any and all responses. yet lindsay, is able to take such command of a staff member to the point the police are called?
also, there shouldn’t be “personality conflicts”. the personality of the staff is irrelevant. they are there to do their job, to help anyone in their care.

Hahahahaha. 2 criminal arrests in under six months and now two probation violations in under six months. She’s nothing if not persistent. What a piece. If she does not do jail time, that judge is getting paid in a BIG way by someone-NO WAY IN HELL, speaking as someone who has had some legal problems in the past, would ANYONE be able to avoid jail time this time around unless there was a bribe-impossible-it’s almost mandatory that someone that screws up this many times needs to spend time in jail-how many people can get, in three years, FOUR criminal convictions and spends however many hours behind bars. It makes me so angry that this waste of space gets everything taken care of, faces no repercussions to her actions, and is such a pathological liar and justifier, etc (I could go on, but I won’t)…..

I hate how spoiled, entitled children will emphasize something like “I was only TWELVE MINUTES LATE for curfew.” Late is late. Curfew is a deadline, not a suggestion. In a sober living house, rules are there to benefit the people in recovery. I, for one, think Lindsay Lohan is a lost cause. She’s no Robert Downey, Jr. She’s more like a Janice Dickinson.

After reading a bit more about this I’m left with a few questions- since when does an addict get to release press statements regarding their treatment? And why is Betty Ford putting up with her shit? She’s been nothing but a huge distraction to the staff and other patients since she’s been there, AND it occurs to me that a staffer at Betty Ford might make 20-30k a year, what might Lindsey have bribed someone with, to fake a urine test? I will never believe that she had a party and went to a bar, and didn’t partake. Nope, not our little crackhead.

My sister is in a REAL rehab facility; she is tested every time she returns to rehab, even on the Holidays. It is a REQUIREMENT, not an option based solely upon “who you are.” Sis will “graduate” at the end of January, after spending 9 MONTHS there.
I wish Blohan would just OD and get it over with. I’m so over her lack of commitment – either commit to getting well or commit to killing yourself via substance-abuse. Just f-ing make a decision, already. (I know, it’s harsh, but that doesn’t make it any less true.)

Betty Ford is a reputable place, yes? Is it safe to assume the staff would be trained in how to deal with abusive crackheads?
I feel bad for the staff member. Lindsay knew perfectly well she was late, so she did what little kids do: acted out at the authority figure instead of taking responsibility. If she pitched a drama queen fit and worked herself into a lather, she probably required some kind of physical action, even if it was just blocking her path. Then she probably socked the staff member in the face. I don’t see that being the staff member’s fault, and I hope she (or he) DOES press charges.

She needs to hook up with that crazy quasi-celebrity chick from Dr. Drew’s Sex Rehab show who also assaulted staff members. The counselors at the chemical dependency unit where I worked for a while in the 90s used to assume borderline personality disorder for combative female clients unless proven otherwise.
The staff member at the “sober house” is probably not a trained counselor or nurse. Usually that is someone who has been sober and active in recovery for at least two years themselves. Often they are students in nursing school or a counseling program, but not necessarily.

I’m with you. Just let Lindsay go and live her crazy life and self-destruct. She doesn’t want to get better, and no rehab can help her until she does, which will probably be never. Jail isn’t going to help her, either, because there will always be an over-crowding issue, so she’ll only do five minutes in jail each time she’s sent there.
Just let Lindsay go on her merry cracked out way and give her spot at Betty Ford to someone who wants to be there. The only thing I ask is take her driver’s license away. Get her off the road and just let her OD or live the next 20 years wasted, whichever, I don’t care anymore. I just don’t want her hurting anyone else. So get her off the damn road and let her do what she wants to herself.

I don’t understand, does this girl not have any REAL friends? How the dickens did she just wander to and from a bar late for curfew at a rehab center on her own? There had to be some accomplices? WHERE are her friends? Does NO ONE care about her well-being? Why is she JUST now having intensive therapy and supervision? I imagine she’s now at the place where the book will be thrown at her.

It’s hard to remember when this girl used to be pretty at this point. Remember when she had a singing career too? Not many people get to throw away as many opportunities as she has. Of course, she’ll never appreciate that.

The shouldn’t have to put up with violence (the staff). Although, one would think, considering where they chose to work, violence is a part of their job, whether verbal or physical.

I think Linsday needs to own her behaviour, yes. I also do think the staff member needs to as well.
If she needed a tranq, then so be it.
I also read on.. tmz? something to the affect that the personality conflict has been ongoing. Of course I have no idea who released this information or even if it’s true, but going on that it is (as we are believing the rest of the story anyway) then this should have been dealt with long ago.
I suppose, I believe a real patient has enough to deal with in rehab, and that requiring them to adjust to every personality of the staff is unreasonable. rather, the staff are there to support and enforce the rules, not have a personality at all.
In this circumstance I do think she pulled a “diva” moment about needing to be tested. I just disagree with the way it was then handled by the staff, because it escalated to the point of needing the police.
Maye this happens in rehab all the time? I wouldn’t know from personal experience.

Ive always been pulling for LL to get better. Sometimes even I wanted to give up on her. I just think her talent was really there. I loved that cute redhead kid in Parent Trap. She just came accross a a beauty inside and out. Now though, esspeically during her trial I just gave up outright. Then the FU nail polish shots came out and that was it for me. I just dont think there is an ounce of beauty in her anymore.

The woman filed a police report-says that Lohan tried to jump a fence, got caught by security, refused the breathalyzer, and the woman is now on worker’s comp for a sprained wrist, resulting from Lohan. I 100% believe this version-it is the only thing that makes sense.
Betty Ford was a reputable, real rehab-I really hope that they are regretting letting someone who is such a loser that anything she touches goes bankrupt, “pretend” to get sober. What were they thinking?

Very interesting stuff going on at TMZ about this nitwit: I hope we get an update in the morning. The Betty Ford staffer who had a conflict with Lindsey got fired….presumably for talking to TMZ. If she’s living in a rehab or sober house facility, she has to abide by the rules and be back before curfew. If they’re pissed you’re back late and demand a test, then tough luck, thems the rules! If she really wants to get clean, she’ll abide by their rules and take it seriously. I bet she’s loving this new attention. And don’t tell me the staff member has lost their job, just before Christmas, all because of this entitled brat.

@21- yes, in theory people who work at rehabs and mental health facilities should be a blank slate. however, sometimes, most times in these facilities, staffers pick favorites. Normally the person still does the best job they can with everyone, but sometimes people can get huffy with clients they don’t like… however in LL’s case, I assume lindsey was and idiot and entitled, like always…
@77- TOTALLY AGREE! I’ve been saying that since her jail stint. I am a social worker and see BPD people all the time… she is a classic case.
