Maybe because the cops forgot to take his blood or urine at the scene of the accident, so all they can prove is what they said they witnessed, or something. Weird, misdemeanor DUI. I don't know this young Hollywoodian at all, but I did notice he crashed his car only about 5 blocks from where I used to live in West Hollywood - that IS a treacherous weird T-zone intersection there at the top of La Brea and Foutain, at 3 in the morning if you're even slightly dumb&high like this guy was, it's so easy to get plowed by another car there. Hope it wasn't his Rosy Palms hand he smashed all to hell! I look at Shia LaBoeuf and I see -- a young wanker, literally. That's not a BAD thing, per se, that's like probably almost all guys his age.
