Maybe its the years of hearing her turned rock-tronic on all her albums when she was singing up a storm at 10! That would push anyone over the edge! Whatever is working for her she should keep doing, get rid of the crazies and paps, embrace herself, not be embraced.. the whole thing just breaks my heart...
