Actually Syko, that was only my second post ever on this site. And I don’t think Angelina Jolie is a whore for going after Brad Pitt. It doesn’t matter who goes after who, if the person committed to a relationship breaks his (or her) commitment, THAT person is the whore.

And before you come back with “you wouldnt think that way if it happened to you” – its already happened to me. I dont blame the girls my ex husband cheated on me with, I blame him.

P.S. I know a woman who went to high school with Brad. Word is, he was missing that “sensitivity chip” way back then too.

You are right. It’s a GREAT idea. You know, the whole “put the child’s needs before your own wants” thing, creating a stable environment in a two parent home…all that stuff.

So, let me get this straightened out in my head. She is not a whore if she went after her ex, who was in a relationship. He is. However, Angelina Jolie is a whore for going after Brad while he was still legally married. He is not. OK, got it. It depends on who you like.

Working out a relationship for the best interest of the child is never a good idea. And settling for “good enough” isn’t a good idea either. Staying with someone because you think it’s the best you can get is demeaning to you and the other party too.

She’s kind of pitiful, really. There are a lot of women like her. I had a friend once who kept me on the phone most of a weekend sobbing because she was breaking up with her boyfriend. At one point she said “And the worst thing is now to have to start all over with someone else.” I said “Why start all over, why not just take a break and be without anyone for awhile, get yourself together, and see what turns up in your life?” Stacey’s response? “You’ve got to be kidding.” She had no concept of being a single woman without a man. I think Kate is the same way. Sad, because it can be great to be unattached and free.
