Scalia is an ass. He’s also a hypocrite. He reads things into the Constitution when he wants to, and doesn’t read it when he doesn’t want to, simply to suit his political views.
He is NOT a strict constructionist, he is a hypocrite.
The 14th Amendment doesn’t specifically mention women, but it doesn’t mention race either. So I suppose discrimination based on race is also ok? And if so, then what the hell does this language of the Amendment mean: “nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” Since no specific category was mentioned, there is no need for “equal protection” for ANYONE? That would render the Amendment null and void, which the Court doesn’t have to power to do.
And where in the hell does Scalia get the notion that corporations are “citizens” that are protected under the Constitution? Because that was his holding too. So corporations can be considered “citizens” for purposes of constitutional protection, but women can’t? There is no logic to his holdings, only prejudice.
He, Thomas, and Rehnquist were three of the WORST appointments in history. And we have the republican party to thank for that. That was one of the reasons I voted for Obama – not because I like his expensive way of running the country (I don’t), but for the Supreme Court nominations.

This photoshoot is old, it was for Alexei Hay, September 2009, she did it before all the plastic, fillers, botox mess.Her face doesn’t even look like this anymore, why pull out old stuff again?

celebitchy these photos you posted on here are OLD. They are from a photo shoot shot in 2009 for esquire and various other magazines. This is no way new at all and I think it’s very misleading.
Also, VS? Not even close, she did armani and that was …tragic.

The proof that these shots are old are on all of her fan websites and HER RIBCAGE. She has the new garbage tattoo she added, so she has two rib cage tats- you dont see either one. These shots were done to promote TF2 and prior to Jennifers Body. Back when she had more meat on her bones – even her hair colour isnt what it is now she was a fake long before the nose job with black hair dye.

You’re right, don’t like her in Armani too. I think she isn’t convincing as a model because she has no confidence in herself, you can see her insecurity in every picture. I’ve heard Armani is going to replace her with Emily DiDonato, an American model.

Viper, roxanne and 32 I agree. MF can’t even model because she has no charisma and personality; the supermodels of the 90s had beauty and personality – that’s partly why they were stars of sorts (sadly replaced by today’s nondescript actresses). I would really like to know how she got the armani gig – was their a shortage of beautiful Italian women? That’s great if Emily Didonato is replacing MF; maybe armani has come to its senses. Emily is gorgeous and makes MF look like a tacky overdressed 6th grader.

this girl has one of the world’s most incredible faces, along the lines of adriana lima – she should do more close-ups, long shots dont do her justice cause she just has no clue what to do with her body, as gorgeous as it is. her face is like a tigress, all darkness and light.
she cant model, it probably has to do with that X factor thing in front of the camera – you need a certain amount of sexual uninhibitedness or playfulness, and a boldness to engage that with the man behind the camera, but for some reason, if she has it, its not coming through.
i think she’s a nice, unpretentious person – she says awfully tactless hilarious things – and i like her for not trying to be something she’s not. she’s still very young – maybe in time, she’ll get better.
