In fact, it’s kinda his job to forgive us lowly mortals for our shortcomings. It would be nice if we could live up to his standard, but he was divine and we’re not, and that’s accepted from day one if you’re a true Christian. So we’re gonna screw up, and that’s alright.

You know what makes you a bigot? The fact that you’re judging an entire group based on the actions of a very vocal and judgmental minority. Most Christians are rational, caring, compassionate people, who don’t feel the need to foist their beliefs on those unwilling to receive them.

I don’t dislike you because you’re an atheist (I’m assuming), I dislike you because you’re being just as judgmental and condescending as the people you’re pissed off at.

This is the classic fallacy with atheist anger: your argument is that we’re bad because we don’t accept your rights to your own beliefs, try to force our beliefs on you, call you stupid or shortsighted, ect. So how do you respond? By not accepting our right to our beliefs, trying to force your beliefs on us, and calling us stupid for believing in a ‘flying spaghetti monster in the sky’.

You’re right, it hasn’t. But when has watching Friday the 13th caused someone to move to a summer camp and start hacking up horny coeds?

The prude argument against nudity is that it encourages kids to become sexually active too early. Well, isn’t that the anti-violence argument in a nutshell too? If they see it, they’ll do it?

We were having wars 5000 years BEFORE television was invented. Therefore, something tells me TV isn’t the problem – human nature is.

I was not raised Catholic (and how the HELL that figured into your ‘logic’ a term I’m using VERY LOOSELY here I’ll never know), and the truth never has set well with the the bible-humping crowd. I edit video as a side job and I never discriminate on content, source material etc. I just take the raw feed, follow the client’s wishes and churn out the product. That doesn’t mean I can’t form my own opinions about the people I work for past or present.

The only hatred I see is vomiting out of that warped mind of yours and through your keyboard and onto the screen for all to see.

And if I am derogatory toward Christians, it’s because there’s much in my opinion to be derogatory about. And if you’re the big Christian man of God and defender of the holy faith as your trying to foist upon us- it’s your DUTY to forgive me. If you don’t- then you’re not in the right either.

Civilized adult humans most certainly do my dear. I notice you specifically mentioned ’24′ earlier – there you go. You’re free today because generations of men and women have offered swift and blinding violence against anyone that would harm you or threaten your freedom.

What exactly do you think a standing army is for? Polishing buttons and playing schnazzy numbers on those trumpets? We are trained to kill people – that is our job. All those other countries with armies? Yeah, they’re trained to kill everyone else too.
