These are photos of Taylor Swift at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. Swifty was by far one of the biggest celebrities who walked the red carpet, although there were some bigger names in attendance. Those bigger celebrities just didn’t walk the red carpet, unfortunately. I think that sends a weird message to your fans – like, there are so many people who love the red carpet stuff, and wait outside to get autographs, and the event is all about “the people” voting for the stars they like, and you’re not even going to walk the red carpet? Anyway, sorry for that digression. Swifty is wearing J. Mendel, a designer she has worn before. Swifty opted for this ice-creamy shade of peach for her big first public outing since she and Jake Gyllenhaal split. Because she’s a princess! And girls should ONLY wear pastels, right?
Us Weekly points out that Swifty was “surrounded by exes” at the show. Those exes: Cory Monteith and Taylor Lautner. I was hoping for John Mayer, alas, we can’t always get what we want. However, Swifty did go to the People’s Choice awards with a “mystery man” – her brother, Austin Swift (who is really cute). She also spent time backstage hanging out with Selena Gomez, Ellen DeGeneres, Drew Barrymore, and Zac Efron, and signing autographs for whoever wanted them (good for her). Us Weekly points out that their sources claim Swifty is “really upset” about the Gyllenhaal breakup, and one source says: “We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn’t listen.”

That dress screams “figure skating” to me (mesh! ew!). Don’t love the mismatched red lipstick either. but then, this girl is about as boring as they come in my book.
Oh Lord! I want to slap her on the face. She’s pretty and has a great body but her music and her attitude make me wanna shove her face. Thanks God Gaylor is so over!
Never really noticed her body. She never really wears anything that would flatter it. She’s just boring. Always the same hair style, etc. Shame, she has a cute face.I odnt’ hate on her, she’s just m’eh. I know more about her love life than I do about her. Never even had heard of her til the Kanye inicident.
Isn’t Natalie Portman dressed, in nearly an exact same dress, on the Vogue cover? It is not a bad dress. Just seems like I have seen it on someone else in the last week.
The only odd thing is I am bugged by all the spring dress and strapy Easter shoes, in the dead of Winter.
Isn’t there lots of couture dresses for Fall/Winter? Why all the Easter clothes?
Maybe this Summer, in the dead of heat, all the ladies will wear dark wintry colors. With suede shoes. 🙂

I think she looks great, not princessy at all.
I wish people would get off her case, she comes across as a decent girl and a good role model, not a Lohan/Spears type. Unfortunately her sudden rise was always going to turn around on her… these days people like to knock success, sad sacks.
She should wear her hair down. Because it’s beautiful. I love her for not coloring her hair.
Yeah, I think a darker color or something more “wintery” would have been nice on her. I see these pictures and think it should be June or January. Good for her on signing autographs for her fans though … I have to say I have nothing against her. Her music isn’t my style but there’s no pictures of her naked, no flashing of panties, no drunken moments, and she was funny on SNL. I hope she knows she can do better than being with that douche John Mayer or being Jake’s beard …
TAYLOR PLEASE LET YOUR HAIR DOWN!! IT’S SO PRETTY AND I’M SO TIRED OF YOU WEARING IT LIKE THIS!!! the dress is o.k. nothing special.. you should have rocked some sexy long hair and a much sexier dress..just to make your ex’s think twice about being ex’s!!!
Not my favorite, but it’s not that bad. It is a bit figure skatery though.

Definitely like the darker hair. Don’t like the dress for her though it looks better from far away than close up.
She’s definitely good about interacting with her fans which depending on who you ask is her being sincere or her knowing who butters her bread. I think it’s a bit of both.

Nat Portman is wearing the exact same thing on Vogue this month. Maybe a better color would have been a mauve or light brown? Anyways, she needs to stop with the orange/red lipstick. Its prolly me, but it always looks orange on her. Maybe switch it up with a pink?

Ugly dress, pretty girl, that’s not peach color, that’s my favorite color of salmon pink. The belt looks, peach, but the dress is light pink.

I know…I’m going to be hated…but…I like Taylor. She’s pretty, sweet, and I find her refreshing for a youngster in the business, not flashing her vadge, getting busted for coke in a Vegas bathroom, and for having her real hair LOL. If I were a mom, I would certainly rather have my kid look up to someone like her rather than all the “starlets” with their crack shenanigans.
Don’t like the dress. She is not pretty. Hate her behavior. Can’t stand her singing. She is totally over hyped.

I like the dress, but I hate her lipstick choice. I don’t think it’s a good color on her to begin with, and it’s even worse when paired with that dress.
And it’s nice to see a singer who doesn’t start slutting it up as soon as they get into their 20s. I hope she continues to dress tastefully in the future.
Don’t like anything about the dress. The dress looks as if it were made by a first year Home Ec student. I don’t like the unfinished look on her left shoulder and waist. Instead of being a statement or whatever – it just looks unfinished and amatuer.

But at the very least, I don’t think the color does her justice. She has a very nice figure, but the dresses being so close to her skin tone does little to show it. No contrast!

She doesn’t have the right figure to pull that look off. What she lacks in the the chest area makes this outfit look like she’s a little girl playing dress-up in her mommy’s clothes.
I like the dress, but I don’t think the peachy color does much for her. Maybe someone like Cheryl Cole. Yes.
