Why should she have to wear something she doesn’t like just in case some dickheads with cameras decide to zoom in on that millisecond that she shows some boob? Frankly, it’s gross that these asswipes are cackling all the way to the bank just because of a wardrobe malfunction – but I don’t see why the celeb should change, maybe the paps should stop being so gorram invasive!
Sorry, don’t mean to be pissy, paps annoy me! :-)

I saw some of the other pics of her boob “falling out” and it looked like a stunt to me.

That being said, I love Lily Allen. I think she’s smarter than most of these little pop music girls. If she wants to show me her 32A’s, I’m cool with it.

I just don’t understand why people are allowed to do this, these paps are trampling all over people’s basic human rights, AND profiting from it. If you’ve ever heard any of the things these pappers say to the celebs, you know how disgustingly tacky and offensive they are. No one deserves that. ESPECIALLY CHILDREN. But they do not care, they have no limits, and no one to stop them, isn’t America the land of the free? Seems to me the only people with actual freedom are the criminals and perverts.

what does being 5’2″ have to do with anything? i would hate the paps too, they are doing a job, but they are still sleaze. her 32A’s are going to be saggy soon if she continues to go bra-less.

I adore her! At least she doesn’t have the pink hair anymore – and I totally am with kaiser on this one. If she wants to show them to me, too, I’m also cool with it.

It wasn’t a publicity stunt, People that don’t Like Lily Allen won’t take the time to find out what she’s really like, and if you have then you know that this is something she would never do because she thinks it’s sexist. Read some of her statements she’s made in the past 2 years, I would not consider her a pop star (let alone a pint sized potty mouth) She stands up for herself, (it was better when she blogged) but the press has ruined that for her. Oh by the way 23 and 5’2 means that sometimes she’s intimidated by the paparazzi that follow her.

I know very little about Lily Allen so have nothing against her, but let’s face it–she KNOWS she has paps following her. Fair or not, frustrating or not, there they are. She is not just ‘not wearing a bra’-she is not wearing a bra with a very loose shirt.
IMO, knowing you will have your picture taken, either a)wear a shirt that fits properly b) wear a bra or c) accept that you will have pictures of yourself falling out of your shirt and stop whining.

People say negative things about my chest all the time. I wear a bra, which I think Lily Allen should have done, but I’m embarassed to wear low cut tops, because people constantly feel the need to comment on (me being a larger chested woman) how my breasts are spaced too far apart or how they sag.

Mostly the comments come from the guys or very catty women, and I have to admit, that I would love to have my boobs done.

In other words, breasts are the just one more new thing to add to the list of what young women have to be insecure about.

Christina X; I am totally outraged on your behalf that anyone would dare make such rude comments to you! Who has any right to comment on your body?
    Nobody.
That being said, I thank you for your comments, because it helped me realize what all these celebs must go through, being scrutinized and criticized by the whole world.
I will try to be nicer to them.

Lily Allen is a really intelligent, staunch young lady. I thought her blog was a really well phrased, thought out reply to a alot of rubbish critics. TONS of women don’t wear bras, c’mon its a breast…big deal. I’m large breasted and I sometimes don’t wear a bra, my breasts, my right. Bras are damn uncomfortable. So does she.

She deserves to be able to have her ‘moments’ which we ALL have without having cameras shoved in her face.

I Met Lily Allen 2 years ago, during a performance in London, and found her to be charming and very well spoken. To me she seems quite unaffected by celebrity, and not the least bit interested in showing off for the camera, during those times when she is showing a side of her personality, it is real, and often times very cute

Thanks Czarina, and don’t mention it.

I may sound like I’m preaching a lot on here, it’s just that my personal experience with “people” who constantly attack the way you look has made me extra sensitive toward men and women who are mocked for their outer appearance.

When, Lily Allen’s boob fell out, she didn’t care, and laughed just a little, but when people called it a publicity stunt, and said mean things,,later that day she was walking her dog, and crying about it, she added in her blog (making a boob) thats cute! anyway she said if you see pictures of me crying, its because of the photographers I love this kid!

  18. anonymous says:

THIS WAS ‘NOT’ A PUBLICITY STUNT! There are enough articles, out there, that tell people, Lily Allen did this, or said that, without her doing anything at all. There are plenty of celebrities and people famous for no reason, that do things just for publicity. Then they hide behind walls in one of they’re 3 houses to try to get away from the people that like them. Lily Allen is not one of those people, she will hide if she is embarrassed, but only for a few days, she laughed at this, when it happened, and cried when she read that people thought it was a publicity stunt. There isn’t much of a difference between Lily Allen and anybody else (except her talent and personality)she has one house one car, but does not have people to control the press when she has an off day! I like her!

  19. Simon Says says:

Lily Allen is constantly being provoked! lets see..Supposedly Lily Allen passed out at Notting Hill Carnival, but’ no one took a picture. Cheryl Cole (supposedly) picked a fight with Lily Allen, but Lily Allen took the blame for fighting back. Supposedly Lily Allen was smoking when she was pregnant, but the dates on the photos show her not smoking Dec.14 2007 January 28, 2008. Each of the dates where Lily Allen is drinking are spaced apart 2 weeks or more. Lily Allen’s miscarriage was they’re business. people are supposed to be topless in Cannes when they’re on the beach. And the Glamor awards… well o.k that’s not good.Comments made by tabloid news papers are false and or exaggerated, and a woman that spends every waking day outdoors being stalked by the paparazzi, is not looking for publicity. :D

Personally, I don’t care if her boob slips out or she’s not wearing a bra. Personally, I rarely wear bras. I just don’t give a fuck about what people think about that. I like feeling free and I hate how bras make me feel constricted. Don’t like it? Turn your head. It happens to be my body and what I wear or not wear underneath my shirt is no one’s business.
I’m off my soapbox now :)
People should be worried about more important things in this world.
