These are photos from the London premiere of Morning Glory. A few days ago we had photos from the Berlin premiere – Rachel McAdams went high-glamour in a bright red Michael Kors, accessorizing with funky hair. While I think Rachel’s overall look at this London premiere was a lot better, I can’t help thinking that this is all wrong for a January premiere in London. The dress is an adorable little Suno (a label I’ve never heard of), accessorized with simple makeup and easy-breezy hair – gorgeous for an LA premiere in May. Wrong for London in January. And that’s not my only quibble. Look how much skin she’s showing! Yes, she’s a petite little thing, so the daring neckline doesn’t look trashy or tacky, like it would on someone more voluptuous. But still – eh. She doesn’t need to walk that line. Is anyone else getting the feeling that Rachel needs a new stylist?
Other photos… Harrison Ford was there for the premiere too. He looked really handsome, I thought. I like the teal scarf. It looks nice on him.
Does anyone like Patrick Wilson? I think he’s a good actor, but he just seems so… I don’t know. “Pillow weeper” comes to mind. He’s all of the equipment: handsome, talented, nice smile, nice body. And yet the entire package feels less than the sum of its parts.

She’s adorable and can pull off just about anything, but I’m not generally a fan of the cut-down-to-there look (see Time Traveler’s Wife premiere as well). Maybe she’s trying to offset her natural cuteness and youth with some sexy, but it feels a little off to me.

Rachel looks like a drunken man in the first pic. Really not cute pose there or posture. I like the dress, don’t think its right for this event as its a sun dress not a red carpet or cocktail dress. Its so cold in London to, what was she smoking that she thought this was a good idea?
Love Patrick Wilson. He was great in Little Children, Lakeview Terrence, and Hard Candy.

Other than just the always very pretty face, I think this whole thing is ghastly. Just ghastly. For someone who has really good hair, this “do” is a tragedy. I can’t think of what her name is, but she looks like the chick on 30 Rock that’s having a baby with Alec Baldwin.

I think she looks cute. Patrick Wilson is a good character actor. I noticed him in Watchmen. I think he gets steady work according to IMDB, but yeah, he’s handsome, but he’s not jump-out-at-you hot.

Tacky and out of season for sure. Am living in London now and when I attended the premiere for my hubby’s Cirque show at the Royal Albert Hall there were “celebrities”(never heard of these English celebs before) and the girls in the tiny cocktail dresses looked cold and out of place.
It’s freezing here and most of all there are such amazing examples of shoe and coat porn, I couldn’t just wear a freezing floral or yellow mini.
It looks stupid when everyone else is covered in winter gear.

It’s actually unseasonably mild right now in England. I haven’t had to wear a coat (just a blazer) for the last few days.
Anyway, I love the dress and her hair, hate the shoes, and at a premier she can suffer the cold for a few minutes.

One London is freezing now, so it is insane to wear a spring dress in the middle of January. Two, why such a revealing top and granny-like knee brushing bottom? If you are going to get provocative, then get provocative and hike that hemline up girlfriend! That way if you are freezing your ass off at least you look hot while you are doing it.

Ok, in order: wrong jewelry, make-up definitely off, wrong season for dress and was her hair stylist high? Actually it looks like her look was put together for a different dress and at the last minute she dragged the dress and shoes out of the bottom of the suit case.

just here to echo the Patrick Wilson love. He was great in Hard Candy & Lake View Terrace. I hated Watchmen overall so I can’t speak to his performance in that.
Why does everyone rag on Harrison for his earring? It’s barely noticeable imo and he’s had it for a while so I’m guessing he ain’t getting rid of it any time soon.

her chest is too flat for that dress style(IMO a common problem among starlets-it’s okay to be flatter chested, just wear the right look to accentuate your physique…Kate Hudson always did that too-and it looked awful-you are just drawn to this breastbone area and nothing to look at. it’s weird.)
However, Rachel is beautiful and IMO can carry off just about anything…..she looks fine, just not great.

I adore her but in the first pic and really all of them, she looks like a crack head. Not that I’m saying she is, just an unfortunate choice in makeup, but eww. She’s one of those girls who is sooo pretty that you wouldn’t think any makeup or dress could not make them look bad. Somehow, she found that perfect makeup/dress combo that actually does make her look a bit trashy. The hair makes me think of the 80′s for some reason. Not a good decade for hair by the way.

Rachel McAdams is one of those actesses I irrationally do not like (as in the Gawker article referenced in another post). I don’t know why. She’s cute and she seems perfectly nice, but I see that she’s in a film and I’m like “oh no, not HER again.”
