When I read that "We have abilities not disabilities" sign in the picture I immediately thought, yeah, blind people can see too, it's just that it's all black. I understand their cause, but I feel like the word "retard" has lost its original meaning since the coming of political correctness. I don't even associate people who are disabled with it. It means stupid or lame to me. If I ever heard someone call someone who was disabled a retard I'd be mad, even if it is the "correct" usage of the word.
