What a crock of droppings, they expect us to believe that ancient old post-incident line, "It was all a misunderstanding?" Hayden's father is clearly an extremely controlling emotionally & psychologically and PHYSICALLY abusive husband to his wife. The police do not have to drop charges just because the victim changes her mind and says "Oh, no, please don't charge him, it's O.K., really, I'm fine," the police are required by the law they enforce to file charges against the abuser with the District Attorney's office. I know this fact from past experience. My first BF, many years ago, beat me up really badly one time & the neighbors called the police, yet since i lived with him and was entirely dependant upon him, and was terrified of his violent ass, I tried to convince the officers that I really didn't want them to file charges against him, even as they were in the process of photographing my blackened & bleeding face and horribly bruised arms and legs. The police gently told me it wasn't up to them, that he committed a crime, so he was going to be charged by the D.A., no matter what I said. Who knew Hayden had such a dark family member?
