Mel's tirade is a reflection of what he really believes in. It's not a momentary lapse of judgement but an actual revelation of what a racist bastard he really is..His father taught him well. You cannot grow up in household where parents preach racial intolerance and hatred and not be affected. Mel had it given to him by people whose influence stayed with him later on in his life as this latest incident obviously illustrated. He has always come across as arrogant and a schmuck...
