Here are some fresh photos of Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford at the Madrid photo call for Morning Glory. Rachel decided to wear this odd, smocked green summer dress for the occasion. Much like her “cocktail dress” at the London premiere a few days ago, I find this inappropriate for winter months, even if it is unseasonably warm in Madrid (is it?). Beyond the “you’re wearing a smocked cotton summer dress in January” issue, there is also an issue of… cheapness. This looks like it came from Target. The discount rack at Target. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing something from Target, you know this dress probably costs hundreds of dollars. And that’s the problem. A $500 cotton, smocked, designer summer dress that looks like it came from a Target discount rack. Ugh. She really needs a new stylist.
Here’s Harrison Ford… I know some of you think he looks ancient, but I think he’s been looking really great on this press tour.

It’s an ugly green version of a wife beater tank.
Maybe she was going to a beach party right after? B/c this is a swim cover-up. Also, I, too, have shoes from the ’90’s that I won’t throw out. But I also won’t wear them anymore.
It looks like it’s one size too small. Plus it’s not my kind of green.
My gwad this chick has the worst posture. Why she is standing like that? Gwad to awful for words…not the dress…just her in it. Again I don’t think this is a premiere dress and it would be better suited for a party at a friends house or something. At first glance I got a cheap vibe from it, because we all have dresses like this that are well worn and have lint balls on them and its fraying but overall that fabric is of really good quality. The ruching or scrunching effect at the top is well snitched and done in such way thats quite professional and clean looking. Love the dress, I just wish the girl in it was more chic and carried herself better.
Ok, the dress is not great, but I think the colour suits her quite well, brings out her eyes and the blond of her hair!

what’s up with harrisons throat? It looks perculiar, like he has a scar or something from a tracheotomy or something. not that i have any knowledge of that whatsoever, but is neckline looks weird, almost like there used to be a hole. Or is that just his wattle?

this olive green looks washed out on her. i dunno – youd think itd work cause theyre the same colour as her eyes (i think theyre green) but with her skin tone, a brighter yellow-green shade, like lime green, for example, might suit her better if she’s out to promote her movie.
this green would be great on an ole tee if she just wants to disappear into the crowd on a saturday afternoon.
she should stick to bright oranges and reds – i cant take my eyes off her when she wears those colours.
I actually love that color on her. She has such pretty, ivory colored skin, and that color compliments her blonde better than most of her looks do (I like her better brunette). But I def agree that it looks like a Tar-jay buy, which in itself is not bad, but when you know that this dress is a car down payment, it makes you cringe a bit.
I will say this, she has strong shoulders like I do – very angular and muscular (not bulky, just toned) and I’m glad she took the risk with the cut of the top. Girls like us can look a little too hard and square if we don’t choose our sleeves well. Halter tops are my mortal enemy. Seeing her in something like this lifts a bit of the self-consciousness I have about my own shoulders, as lame as that sounds. She looks beautiful and regal, but that dress needs to go. Rachel is better than that, I think.
It’s a photo call, not a premiere! She’s allowed to be more dressed-down for the photo call, but the dress is still cheap-looking.

i’ve been watching indiana jones so its difficult to see harrison like that and then to see him here. SIGH. she’s such a beautiful woman i hate to see her in a dress like this when we all know she could wear better!

She needs to stop this new thing shes doing with her hair. It makes her head look really long and weird. Plus it just looks bad. I’m not really thrilled with the dress but I’ve seen her in worse, like just the other day. Come on stylists make the girl pretty again, she’s good at that.
Looks like a beach cover-up from Victorias Secret. Maybe next she will wear a Juicy track suit.

She is gorgeous here, that shade of green is stunning on her and looks wonderful against her skin and colouring, but the dress itself is wrong. Had it been smocked and fitted all the way down, it could have worked.
if the skirt part were longer-just above the knee,it would have worked-more like an almost vintage thing….
this style is just, no….and, it makes her legs look square and chunky though i think the shoes emphasize that too….color is great for her IMO

I actually do not think this is that bad, although a closed toe pump might have been a better choice. And although the photos make the dress look like a cheap fabric, you can tell it has a sheen to it and probably looked better in person.

I hate pretty much every shade of green and I hate smocking, so of course I think it’s fugly. And with those shoes it’s even more fugly. She is such a pretty woman, that outfit is really an unfortunate choice.

The dress does look a little cheap but, in its favour, I’ll also add that it looks a lot more comfortable to wear than most dresses. I really don’t like the shoes. Chunky platform sandals with thick straps remind me of the 90s.

I have to say that yes, it is unusually hot here in Madrid these days. Not summer hot, but almost like springtime. But in every typr of weather, her dress is heinous! Nobody can pull off that color! Fail!
