Bloom is the most narrow scoped actor in hollywood. Even C-list actors know how to pick their roles better. His roles are limited to either bow & arrow OR sword play, so much that he's the new go to stunt man rather than the go to actor. I read also he got 1mil for the hobbit. ok, if you're a great actor, you can keep demanding 1mil for a 1min performance, but if you're just sucking right now, who the heck wants to pay you that high for their film?! (hobbit aside since he was in the original and it's a multi billion franchise). 2 things will happen in the next 10 yrs: wifey will leave him cause she wants more fame and money, and he's gonna have to start taking acting classes.

Blooms demise should surprise no one. He was just a pretty face with no real talent, in an industry where pretty faces are a dime a dozen. Sam Worthington is following in Blooms footsteps at the moment, he can't act for nuts and his roles will soon dry up.

I always thought Orlando Bloom had clowny looking eyes. He's not handsome enough to be a pretty boy. He has a hole for a mouth.

Aspen, you are so right about the beauty of their packaging. Their storefronts & storefront signs. All beautiful. I miss you, Japan. I'll be back 'home' to you soon.

I live in Japan, and the culture here is very, VERY "into" melodrama. Though most of the commercials are not as long as this one, the vast majority ARE ridiculously over-emotional. Well...they are by American standards, at least. There is a lot of stuff in the pop culture here that Westerners would find very full of cheese...processed cheese, even. On the upside, everything the Japanese people do is done with small formalities that make even little things beautiful and ... just, better than what I was used to at home in the U.S. Packaging is always attractive and novel. Nothing is left plain or unembellished. Politeness is everything, and little touches of elegance or decoration are added to even the most mundane of products. We could learn a lot from the Japanese culture's book.

The trendy style for Japanese men right now is to wear their hair in very much the same fashion you see Orlando Bloom's in this ad. Every Japanese man under 25 has hair that looks JUST like that. Ha ha.

Msfortune; don't be too hard on Orlando--if you look closely, most of the big movie stars in Hollywood can't act. They have ONE character-type that they play over and over. Kevin Costner--he doesn't even change his expression from one movie to the next!
Where they go wrong is when they start believing their own PR hype and thinking they really CAN act and demanding to be in more 'serious' or 'dramatic' movies (*cough*Tom Cruise*cough)--always a mistake.
Compare any of them to Johnny Depp and you will see the difference between a REAL actor and a Hollywood mediocre actor. (Look at the range of Depp's movie roles, his ability to alter his character completely...he's amazingly talented).
