I’m gonna back up what Lola stated here in this thread, ’cause it’s thread pertinant, you know? Lola’s almost always on the other side of the opinion fence from me around here, especially within our infamous Jolie-Pitt threads, but on this particular point, she’s absolutely got my backing.

This right for us women to vote was a long, difficult struggle to obtain. It was not so long ago that we women, along with the country’s minorities, especially our Black & Asian brothers & sisters, were denied the equal rights every human being in this country has been entitled to from the beginning, and we’ve all been entitled to equal rights if not by common sense and sensibility, then at least by the Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights.

Brooke Hogan sh*ts upon the likes of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott and Susan B. Anthony with her blithe, insipid, stubborn stupidity. You don’t like women’s rights, Brooke? Try living in a religious compound somewhere, or move your stupid punk-ass to fukking outer Chinese-controlled Mongolia, we’ll see how much you appreciate the hard work of your foremothers there when you’re faced living with the reality of the drivel you spit!

You guys, we only just got our right to vote in 1920!! That is NOT very long ago. I mean – think about it, really that was within our grandmother’s/great-grandmother’s lifetime. It was a hard battle won, too. Ignorant bitches like Brooke hogan should be told this history. She must not know! Or how could she be such a terrible mental insect about it? GOD!! infuriating.
