Male swimmers’ bodies are the best. His is particularly outstanding. Congrats on that and his 8 gold wins. It’s the only thing I’ve bothered watching so far in the Os.

His body is actually a little freakish. This is probably what makes him a great swimmer. His torso is really loooong, and his arm-span is longer than his body height.
Congrats to Phelps. He seems sweet.
That being said, I’ve seen Cavic in person and he is FINE.

Interesting. My dad was a great swimmer and his arms were a full hand’s length longer than anyone else’s.

I thought the sweetest thing was when he said when interviewed after winning, “I just want to see my Mom”. Aaaw!

I just love this kid so much – did anyone see his interview with Bob Costas? Phelps just seems like the sweetest, most focused, most decent Mama’s boy EVER.

And I even love his little jug-handle ears. Marry me, Phelps!

What an incredible feat, especially for someone so young!

Is his Dad in the picture? Haven’t heard him mentioned, but I only watched a handful of Phelps’ races, so I may have missed something.

Codzilla – apparently he doesn’t have much of a relationship with his father. After his parents divorced, his mother raised him & his two sisters pretty much on her own.

Good for him, we need something to give America some pride back that doesn’t involve blowing indigenous desert-dwelling folk of a different faith to tiny bits.

I love him! All the swimmers, actually. Swimmers just seem so…real. Like you could actually hang out with them and they wouldn’t be self-important douche bags. Also, swimmers have great bodies. I better go join me a swim team…

He’s great. What a feat! I just hope he doesn’t go hog wild on the endorsement of products. Seeing him all over grocery store, or in TV ads every 5 minutes could become very annoying.
