So maybe that's how she shrunk her stomach (and appetite) with Adderall in the first place and then it was easier not to eat, but I doubt she's continuously using it (unless it's a subconscious thing that makes her THINK she's not hungry...) Obviously, I have no idea what she’s actually taking, but coming from someone with some experience with Adderall, the diet supressing part wears off after extended (a few weeks straight) use. Megan--my observation about VB, is that she 'invented' the Posh "character" during her Spice Girls days, and knew very well that it wasn't Victoria Adams (her maiden name). Then when she and Beckham got together, they became the British version of Brangelina--the paps went crazy for them and they really became scrutinized by the media. Part of that was big headlines whenever anyone thought VB was the slightest bit overweight. (It still happens--when the Spice Girls did their reunion tour, there were these pictures of VB with a roll of skin near her arm above her bustier costume--all this time eveyone is talking about her being "scary skinny" but one grainy picture of extra skin and it's all over the internet) My point of this is that I think that is when VB became, much like Princess Di in similar circumstances, very self-conscious about her appearance and began maintainig a very low weight. The more troubles VB has had (in her career or her personal life), the more ugly the media has been to her (and it must have been hellish on many occasions), so VB has pulled the "Posh Spice" persona around her like a blanket, until, in public, that's exactly what she became. I think it started as a defense mechanism to deal with the pressure of the paps and the invasion of privacy. The whole fashionista "look", the whole not-smiling thing, all became a part of her Posh persona, and had less and less to do with Victoria Beckham. Which maybe worked in Europe, but not in America. Dita Von Tease also has a 'persona', but it's just a look/a style--she never tried to be anyone but herself. I think VB went wrong because she tried to "be" someone else--she invented a "Posh" personality to go with the look, and you can't maintain that for any length of time. That's why she always looks aloof and snotty in pictures, but sounds very down-to-earth in interviews...she needs to let herself be Victoria Beckham again. I feel so badly for her, because it must be awful to be so insecure you think you can't be your 'real' self. And when criticizing her weight, people might want to remember that anorexia is a huge problem in Hollywood because celebs are pressured unbelievably by the industry and the media into being "thin"--especially in a world today where pictures of celebs can be taken anywhere by anyone with a cell phone. I am hoping that VB will shed her "Posh" persona and just be herself for a change.
