Rumer Willis is one of the stars in the new comedy The House Bunny, which is out in the US tomorrow. It features Anna Farris as a Playboy playmate kicked out of Hef’s mansion who just happens to stumble upon a sorority of geeky college chicks in need of makeovers and someone to show them the way to hotness. The premise seems tired and more than a little sexist, but the trailer makes it look like it could be funny.
Rumer, 20, stepped out with her new boyfriend, actor Micah Alberti, 24. Alberti used to play James Edward Martin on All My Children and has had guest roles on 8 Simple Rules and Smallville. He’s pretty attractive and that’s great for Rumer that she landed a live one.
Rumer’s divorced mom and dad, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, were both there with their younger partners. Bruce, 53, was there with his Demi lookalike, actress Emma Heming, 30, and Demi, 45, was with her 30 year-old husband, Ashton Kutcher. Rumer’s sisters Tallullah, 14, and Scout, 17, were also there.
People Magazine reports that the whole family sat together inside the theater, and that the last time they all made a public appearance was for the 2003 premiere of Demi’s film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Rumer said her family “has always just been very supportive,” and that she’s “very grateful.”
A lot of people make fun of Rumer because she’s not a traditional beauty yet has no hangups about her appearance. I kind of admire her, I must admit. She said last month that “There’s so much pressure to look a certain way, and I don’t fit the convention. But it’s okay if you’re not the perfect picture…
“Everyone can feel out of place, but it’s not about whether you’re popular or nerdy. As long as you’re comfortable with yourself, and your friends and family love you, that’s all that matters.”
I don’t quite think that’s the message of her first feature film. They probably stuck some feel-good stuff in there to make it seem as if they’re not touting beauty over character despite the fact that everything will surely get better for those girls once they slap on some makeup and do their hair.

I love how this family always seems banded together. They may not be so close in real life, but they do seem supportive of each other. How…..refreshing.
Edit: I love the photos of Demi and Rumer. Dlisted has a couple more of them together, I think.

Seriously, these guys really seem to have figured it out - genuinely staying friends and having a great supportive extended, functional celebrity family! Kudos to Demi and Bruce.

Kudos to Rumer for not curling up into a little ball or sucuumbing to drugs because people are so mean about her looks. She’s more attractive than about 90% of the population, just not perfect. No, I’m not a fan of hers.

I agree with my fellow posters, it is rare that your see this kind of genuine family support in HW. They have done a great job keeping it together. They all look happy and proud.
Demi looks fabulous, the picture of her hugging Rumer is precious. Bruce looks good also.

Obviously they’re altered for the movie, but outside of it they still look more puckered than usual. -
Rumer’s eyes look like blue contact lenses. She is lucky she can afford nice expensive cloths and make-up artist (even that can not hide the fact that she is a quite unattractive girl) because (I do not want to be mean) she has a way low then average looks. However, she does have a good body though, nice enough personality and a supportive family. Her sisters on the other hand are quite pretty.

The whole family thing is all about publicity. The last time they were all seen together also was at a premiere. What a coincidence! Untalented spawn should go away. (And yes I’ve seen her act and she sucks, just like her parents.)

So what she has a larger than normal jawline. I think she wears it well. She may not be drop dead gorgeous, or have that “particular look” that everyone can rave about, but she carries herself with class and dignity and she is comfortable in her own skin. How many people can actually say that?
Kudos to you Rumer for being yourself, and not running to the nearest plastic surgeon, just to conform to what people think you “should” be. -
Rumor has grown on me in recent months. I expect good things… hopefully.
Also, Anna Faris is wonderful! I wish she made more movies.

OMG!!!! I think Bruce has had botox!!!! He looks really smooth in the picture with his girlfriend, and I thought a little unnatural, but then in the one where his eyes are big, the forehead doesn’t have a single line! Not scrunched up at all! I hate it when these “manly” men get work done. It ruins the illusion.

Finally, someone in Hollywood who doesn’t look like the million other starlets with the long blonde 70’s-esque curls and perfect features (not to mention the willingness to carve up their faces and bodies in search of “perfect” features). I actually mistook a semi-dark blurry picture of Avril Lavigne as Heidi Montag last night. It is getting ridiculous how all of these women are starting to look like carbon copies of each other.
Kudos to Rumer for not carving herself up to fit the Hollywood ideal of “perfect”.

It would be really CLASSIC if Ashton and Emma hooked up…they’re the same age after all, and Emma DOES sort of look like Demi. It’s all very interesting and sounds like the type of thing that would happen on a soap!

Eh, I’m not so sure it’s for publicity. My parents are divorced, mum remarried a man 13 years her junior, dad has a kid with a woman 15 years younger than him and we all get along fabulously. Do we see each other every week? Nope, we all end up together about twice a year, have a good time, take photo’s of all of us together and call it a day for another six or seven months. We all lead busy lives and while everyone’s still “cool” with everyone else there’s a reason my parents got divorced in the first place. They don’t want to hang out with each other every week and I`m sure Demi and Bruce don`t either.
Also, is it just me or am I the only one who thinks Bruce`s new girlfriend looks nothing like Demi Moore, other than the dark hair and tanned skin? Because if that’s all it takes, I’m a Demi Moore look-alike! Whee!!

No matter what, it’s wonderful to have a supportive family! And it truly seems that even through divorces etc that this group is genuine which is so nice. As for Rumer, it’s the best I have seen her look–Stick with that hair.
