These skinny little chicks are so high maintenance. If Joel strays then Nicole never truly had him. She needs to enjoy her little girl, go have a sandwich and chill out. And stop wearing those stupid headbands and mumu dresses; we know she’s all of about 90 pounds under there. She’s not fooling anyone. She’s very fortunate that little Harlow was born healthy despite all of the drug abuse and eating disorders in Nicole’s past. Enjoy motherhood and quit whining!

I would be furious too. There are plenty of snakes out there and they aren’t all men. Mary Kate is obviously interested in Joel and he’s probably flattered by the attention. Nicole has every right to be defensive.

I don’t see why Nicole has to change to please anyone, she has the right to be herself.
I also don’t doubt that she is a good mother and loving companion.

Joel seems to be a little unfeeling and dense. ALL his devotion should go to Nicole and his child,instead of wasting time flirting with outsiders.

Especially since Nicole had a somewhat chaotic upbringing and no doubt has abandonment issues.
Joel needs to take great care to insure emotional security for his little
family.

I only hope Joel is not re-enacting what he saw his father do.If he ruins the relationship, Nicole might get sick again.

I sincerely wish them the best and pray that they can work it all out.

I still get pissed if my bf talks to exes and we’ve been together for ages. In my experience, a lot of men are dummies (or play dumb) when it comes to the meddling girl’s motives and claim there is no meddling. And I get that meddling vibe from MK. She’s sneaky.

I thought she changed at first to convince a judge not to sling her ass in jail and then to keep public opinion on her side.

I’ve never really felt she’d changed just been canny enough to realise the audience interest that kept her famous for doing not much more than remaining underweight was less forgiving after a million other celebrity DUIs.

Maybe I’m being cynical but I just really don’t like Nicole. A lot of the stuff she’s been quoted as saying to others just never seems justified for the degree of harshness and bitchiness she supplies.

That said, I never felt Joel was really this godsend everyone kept spouting he was – imo, they’re both as bad as each other and Nicole can recognise it, so she is actually being quite reasonable calling him on the tour bus thing and calling it early.

The “tour bus” is quintessential cheating grounds is so many rocker stories. I can see why Nicole was angry about that. It’s hallow ground. Nicole went to college (although she didn’t finish) and even during her wild days always came across as very intelligent sounding in interviews on shows like Howard Stern and in magazines. I think Nicole has changed for the good and these are just her self esteem issues boiling to the surface. As good an adoptive father as Lionel seems to her, she still clearly has some issues with affection and needing attention, which is probably what caused her wild-child ways to begin with.

It can be offending when a man has a baby with you and won’t marry you. Especially with her longing to belong. I’m not exactly a Nicole fan, but can only imagine the turmoil she must feel inside from her youth. (i.e: her adopton, regardless of wealth, her then abandonment again..when the Ritchie’s went all faux (as many parents have) “tough love” on her and threw her out as a teen) I think she is longing for HER family and will probably give Joel her all. ( look at her prior engagement ) I feel bad for her because it seems she really is trying to give it a go with Joel and he is the one who is not feeling it. Honestly, that makes me sad. I wish them well, their kid is adorable.

p.s. considering the former Nicole, Mk’s lucky she didn’t get a bottle to the head.
