She is such a natural and regardless what others think, CHER is still alive and vibrant and should be given respect because she is a veteran of movies and music and should be given KUDOS for continuing her career. Others are not sure (according to comments on the web). I say get off your high horse and face the facts that she is not afraid to put herself out there regardless of age, CHER is TIMELESS and up with the times, she LOVES youth and keeps up with the times. I'm not going to go all fanboy geeky here, but Nolan would have to be planning some extreme mythology tinkering for her to play the role. (Ledger might have been an unusual choice for the Joker, but he was hardly the most controversial casting choice in the course of the movies.) There is a pattern of duality in the Batman mythology. Cher has always struck me as a very direct person and also in her choices as an actress. If the rumor is true, it could be interesting to see her take on the character.
