The music ends at 3:50 but then the video just keeps going for another 6 minutes! What’s going on with that? Maybe Trent got an advance copy or something, but I doubt they were able to sync up the audio and video any better. Awful..

The most hurtful thing we can say about these two is to say nothing at all. If they are ignored, they truly will cease to exist. That’s how it works.

On that note I’d love to hear any random comments you’d collectively like to share about your day …

So …have people been watching the Dem Convention? Hillary speaks tonight, should be interesting.

Also the weather here has been really nice, a little cooler but crystal clear, wonder if that means we’ll segue right into fall, w/o an Indian Summer.

I have a pedicure appt. today at 2PM and I’m thinking of roasting a chicken for dinner.

I did watch the convention and Michelle Obama had such a beautiful speech about how, in America, if you try really hard at something, you should make it…

She obviously did not have these two in mind… but they are trying sooooooo hard.

Did they not have any friends at MTV to help the with ANYTHING? Not even an intern?

…This must actually be the real thing. She has it up on her ultra-professional “official website”. Funnily enough, the name of the guy on camera is also Spencer.

    Are they freaking serious?
Please let their 15 minutes be up soon. They make me want to puke.

By the way the weather here (louisiana) is finally bearable. I’m a p.o. so it’s nice when it starts to cool off and i’m no longer in danger of a heat stroke everytime i get out of my car due to all the gear.

My four-year-old, our two cats, and I will be making a music video tonight that will be better quality…because, really, how could it be any worse.

Weather here in MN is gorgeous. Working from home, sitting on my porch. Life is good.

So I’m watching the video while my 2 year old is playing with Mr. Potato Head beside me. He just looked up and said, “I don’t like this song.” I think that says it all. Not even pleasing to someone who enjoys Barney.

As a one-minute spoof on SNL, it might have been entertaining.
OK, I have to know…did anyone actually watch (in real time) all ten minutes of that?
    Vive la Woodchipper!!

MY EYES! OH GOD MY EYES!

The weather in Kentucky has been wonderfully cool today after a brief rain yesterday. Lovely, lovely weather.

Someone on this site promised a Woodchipper. Dante? Kaiser? Daisy? You are not getting off that easy.

    I can’t ignore that.
I CAN’T! I just sat watching the whole thing. I can only imagine what my face looked like. My mouth was hanging open the entire time.

Just blown away. Doesn’t she feel stupid? Isn’t he embarrassed for her?
    I was embarrassed for her!

I still watch the Hills, and he strikes me as being emotionally abusive by controlling her with guilt and driving other people away.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, I think I’m getting carpal tunnel, and it’s beautifully cool and breezy here (chicagoland).

I’m thinking of rearranging my apartment tonight. I need a fresh perspective!

SilentA–you watched the WHOLE thing? Really? I don’t know whether to admire your steely fortitude or offer to run out to the drugstore and pick you up the sedative of your choice…LOL

Yeah, our weather here (in Toronto) is beautiful, too…although fall is definately in the air.

I think you’re right on the right on, Ms Nikki.

The weather is hot, but beautiful up here in Denver, much to the chagrin of the New Life Church. (Their supporters were praying for rain to distill the spirits of the Dems, only to have a tornado touch down close to the Springs Sunday night. That karma . . .)

Things are really hoppin’ downtown. It’s great to take a stroll around 16th street and see the general buzz and electricity the Convention has generated. Of course, not everyone is happy about it – and they generally carry bullhorns and mircophones to tell you why. (Said supporter of New Life Church told me I should put some clothes on, and stay in the kitchen “baking cookies”. He was on the morbidly obese side of the scale, so I laughed and told him, “I bet you’d want me to bake some cookies.” Delightful! )

Oh! I saw Darrel Hannah at the Capital give a speech about green energies. She looked lovely, as always. Very sweet, well-spoken woman.

Hmm . . . that’s about it. I guess we’re going out for a stroll later on after dinner. See what happens after the weather cools down and folks settle into the bars. There’s supposed to be a jazz concert tonight at the Cap – probably fill a flask and mosey on over.

We got a good soaking here in Georgia. We really needed it.

Stopped by Home Depot to pick out paint colors for my garage cabinets.

P.S. I know where we can rent a wood chipper. Can I have the honor of flipping the on switch??

LOL – this thread reminds me of a thread we had on another forum we had once; everyday we posted we wrote in what the weather was like in our area, what we were wearing and our mood, and then got on with the rest of the conversation. It developed into a huuuuuuge thread (hundreds of pages long – about 13,000 posts before the forum was lost). We were going for the Guinness World Record, but they wouldn’t accept it as they didn’t believe that there was current competition.

Anyway – on topic -there’s a bit of nice kitschness to the video – but streamed at 1/3rd the speed of a HORRIFIC song to eke it to 10 minutes? Blech.

Wow, that would have been really funny if it wasn’t in slow motion. You have to hand it to them for making such a bad video. Its truly exceptional.

The Democratic Convention gave me chills. Especially that part about the lady with cancer and no health insurance Hillary talked about.

Michelle Obama is also so admirable and poised!
