Far more honest and innocent than a sordid affair with a Disney exec. It seems to me that Casey got duped into being the fall-guy, in exchange for a free ride and notoriety. But now he's figuring out that he's signed up for more than he bargained for. There's no way Lynn is going to let Casey off the hook - whether or not he "pulled the trigger" he's guilty by (a very public) association. The Spears do not want to bring more fuel to the fire by questioning the kid's paternity (and thus JL's sexual history), so they save face by calling Casey's infidelity into question. Poor kid is stuck in a loveless relationship and a media feeding-frenzy, all because he had sex with a Spears. Let that be a lesson to you. (Then again, I do love a good conspiracy theory.
