I can’t believe that Will Smith is turning 40 this year. I still remember when he first came on the scene as a rapper with DJ Jazzy Jeff- he was barely out of his teens. Has he really been around that long? Smith gave a fun interview about turning the big 4-0 to In Touch. He said that he’s in the best physical shape of his life and wants to spend as much time in the nude as he can before his body starts to go. He also said that none of his kids listen to a word he says.
Will Smith is always one of the best-dressed men on the red carpet. But with a big birthday approaching, he’s going to start dressing down- way down. “I’m turning 40 this year, so I’m going to be naked as much as possible before it’s too late,” Will says.
The actor, who is married to Jada Pinkett-Smith, believes now is the perfect time to be proud of his birthday suit. “I’ve been in pretty good shape for the past couple of years,” he admits. “When I’m 42 or 43 years old, I’m going to start letting go!”
Besides stripping down, do you have any other plans?
I’m going to start being mature and saying smart things. I’ve been telling the kids, “As soon as I turn 40, you have to do what I say, because now I’m in charge.”How do your children (Willow, 7, Jaden, 10 and Trey, 15) react?
It’s not going over too well.Why not?
My kids don’t listen at all. I tell them all the time, “When I was your age, parents were allowed to give kids spankings.” They think it’s hilarious, like it’s such a foreign concept to them.

It’s nice to know that men worry about their physique as they get older, too. Still, men have it a lot easier in Hollywood when they hit 40. Look at all the over-40 actors who still headline blockbuster films, starring with actresses half their age. It’s also comforting to know that Will Smith has the same problems with his kids as the rest of us. I’ll be he’s a fun dad, though. Jada definitely strikes me as the disciplinarian in that family!

I love being naked….it just offends those around me. LOL

Isn’t “closet Scientoligist” some kind of oxymoron? Wouldn’t they say he was being supressed or supressive or some other dimestore word if he was active in the “church” but denying it to the public?

@Diva - I think for everyone else, the Scien. would say that they were being “suppressive” - but they probably put up with a lot from the big “gets” in Hollywood. The only bigger “get” is maybe Tom Hanks or Julia Roberts.

it has been so hot this summer I have spent most of the time naked. It is the only way I could have made it through it. I have discovered that I have saved lots of money by not having to take my cloths to the laundry. The wash lasts a month instead of a week! I hate the trips to the laundromat.

Spent a summer in Oregon like that a few years back, V.I.Pete. For some reason those fine folks think they don’t need air conditioning, even though it often is over 100 in August. I was living in a one room apartment with a huge picture window facing west and thought I would literally melt. So I spent the days naked and stepping in and out of the shower every two minutes, then sitting in front of a fan. Never did a lick of laundry all that month.

I think Charlize theron uninhibited ways are rubbing off on Will. Jada used to be the boss of him, now Charlize is the boss of him. -

He will be spending time in the nude…with men, that is…not with Jada. In fact, they spend a lot of time nude with other swingers like themselves, I imagine.

Will is just pulling everyone’s tail. He said last year when he turns the big 40 he would let himself go and have a bear belly. And Jada have to start working so he can have some time off. Now he is saying when he turns 42-43. Glad to know its about time to grow and stop acting immature. He has enough gray all over to realize young cats out there are a competition for him. Now more hair dyes will go natural, salt and pepper. He’s still a good looking man.

to be honest with you, i absolutely LOVE will smith. hes such a talented actor. i love him in every single thing hes in, and he always gets my attention. so.
whatever he says works for him, just go with it.
