I know, I know. ANOTHER story about Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry. But this one is from People Magazine! Meaning it’s more official-like. People is pretty solidly on Team Halle, because she’s an Oscar-winner and a woman and who is Gabriel Aubry, after all? I also think TMZ is pretty solidly pro-Halle, by the way. They’re getting a ton of leaks from Team Halle, and they were the ones to break the “story” about Gabriel allegedly throwing around the N-bomb, and they’re the ones now reporting Halle’s accusations that Gabriel is harming Nahla. Considering TMZ was and is solidly pro-Mel Gibson, and Radar was/is pro-Oksana and pro-Gabriel, I have to admit: if I was a celebrity in trouble, I would want Radar on my side, not TMZ. Radar just seems more sympathetic to the underdog. But the real prize would be getting People Magazine on your side – that’s “the official” version of whatever story you’re shilling. Anyway, People’s take: Halle didn’t get crazy until Gabe started seeing Kim Kardashian:
By the standards of Kim Kardashian’s usually high-profile romances, this one only flickered and faded.
In late November, the reality starlet and Canadian model Gabriel Aubry caught a Lakers game and stepped out to watch the movie Burlesque. They then quietly went their separate ways, and by early December, Kardashian was dating pro basketball player Kris Humphries. But sources say that one person took the brief episode seriously: Aubry’s ex, Halle Berry.
“Halle was very upset,” says a source close to the actress. “She was upset at the idea of someone like that being in her daughter’s life. She did not want a reality star in Nahla’s life. She was very aggravated.”
Another source close to Berry, 44, says the Oscar winner’s reaction had nothing to do with jealousy.
“Halle couldn’t care less who Gabriel dates,” says this source. “She just didn’t want Nahla exposed to the cameras that are undoubtedly around a reality star.”
A source close to Gabriel says Nahla was never near Kardashian.
“Gabriel wanted to make sure he dated someone for six months before he introduced them to his daughter,” says the source. “There was never for a second a thought by Kim or Gabriel that Nahla would ever go near cameras.”
Either way, the brief time that Gabriel, 35, and Kardashian, 30, spent together has surfaced as one of several issues in the ugly custody fight over daughter Nahla, who turns 3 next month. In November of last year, Berry and Aubry, who had been split for seven months, were raising Nahla in an informal joint custody arrangement, the result of what most outsiders had thought was an amicable breakup.
But then Aubry filed court papers to establish paternity and secure joint legal and physical custody of Nahla on Dec. 30, not long after Berry reacted to seeing him with Kardashian.

It might seem like old news, given the revelations both sides have made this week, but here’s what’s important: until now, TMZ and Radar were both playing the Kim Kardashian situation very carefully, often referring to her as merely “a reality star that Gabriel dated briefly”. People Magazine is putting it out there, and putting Gabriel’s brief dalliance with Kim in the spotlight, and making it about Kim versus Halle.
Here’s another point: Halle and Olivier Martinez are pretty much living together at this point. Their relationship moved very fast, and although we’ve yet to see any photos of Olivier with Nahla, my guess is that Olivier is spending a great deal of time with Nahla. So… is Gabriel going to bring that up?

This is just ridiculous. Gabriel & Kim barely dated for any length of time. They were FAR from exclusive, & she never stayed the night somewhere where Nahla was with him. From what I can see, Kim never even met Nahla. If Gabriel was considering living with Kim, that would be a different story.
If this is the main reason behind Halle’s actions, then she’s being controlling & hypocritical. Yes, she has a right to protect her child. But she doesn’t have a right to apply judgment to his love life when he’s acting with respect to Nahla’s well being. She doesn’t like who he’s dating, that’s simply too bad.
She can’t try to apply rules to Gabriel that she isn’t applying to herself.

Halle being aggravated that Gabe went out with kim is I suppose normal, if she doesn’t care for Kim as a person but aggravation alone and expressing it to Gabe is one thing and in my opinion not enough for him to start legal proceedings. I’m thinking threats of not being able to have access to his child if he didn’t toe the line is more of what happens when Halle is aggravated. And Gabe decided he wasn’t going to kowtow any longer.

Oh boy! I am summing up every ounce of my will to say (and this is not easy to do) – for once Kim shouldn’t be blamed in this fiasco. There I said it.
Allegedly: Aubry probably had a quick dinner, game and a quicky with Kim K. But after scrubbing himself throughly and getting his dick purified he came to his senses and realized this ain’t working out, its just another medically enhanced assssss.
However, on Halle’s end there is:
1. Olivier moving in with Halle and Nahla (really fast).
2. Halle not waiting that long to jump on another dong
3. Olivier history of exploits
4. Halle’s unstable driving skills
5. Rumors of Halls’s stinking attitude

Is Kim a famewhore? Absolutely. However, I think it’s unfair to even suggest that she has anything to do with this custody dispute, if that is in fact what Halle’s suggesting. I really don’t think Kim would be the WORST person to have around your child. Would I want her raising my child? No, but I would trust her long enough to babysit or be AROUND my child. Much as we all dislike the Kardashians, from what we can see, Nahla wasn’t being exposed to Kim at all, or any of the media madness that comes with her.
I just don’t get the feeling that there’s enough to make Halle’s anger over this issue legitimately caused by concern over the ‘welfare of her child’. It seems more like a control issue, possibly related to disliking Gabriel’s choice of date (a very public figure she dislikes), or maybe even that he’s dating at all.
Regardless, that’s still not a reason to threaten his custody of his child.
I agree with those of you who pointed out the ‘timing’ of the accusations being made about Gabriel. I just think it would’ve come out before now, if it were true.

Although I am not much of a fan of Kim K, I think this is all about control with Halle of Gabriel. I thought it was very tacky when Gabe was in Africa and Europe last summer with her and Nahla and Miss Halle starts dating Olivier. If she cares so much about her “image” she would have at least waited until she came back to the states and Gabe was not with her. I am no fan of the Kardashians and their money marketing machine. That being said, HB’s comments about her are beyond the pale, and are so elitist I couldn’t believe what I was reading. And that doesn’t even take into account hypocrisy when her claim to fame is Monster’s Ball where she had a couple of explicit sex scenes herself. I remember there was talk about her doing them due to the explicitness of it; although I do concede there was no peeing going on.
Halle parades her body around town as well, so she is in no place to talk. Throwing the “n” word and child abuse inferences out is so horrible . . . talk about conversation stoppers. There’s no way for a white person to defend against the “n” word, and child abuse is the same. The more said the worse it gets.
I’m appalled by her behavior . . . and I hope none of her allegations are true. I tend to side with the control freak camp on this one, and I hope I’m right and he didn’t do these things.

I am Team Gabriel purely because Halle was absolutely fine co-parenting with him until the dalliance with Kim Kardashian. Then Gabriel asks to be recognised on his own daughters birth certificate and Halle starts to see a world where she won’t be in control of everything. And she FREAKS OUT. I find it horrible that some of you would call Kim K a whore.. Halle a bitch and gabrial a good father….none of us know them at all!!!! Kim is famous because people like us are interested enough to read the articles and obviously watch the show it it can be quoted from!!!!

Well, I know most of us who comment negatively about the Kardashians leave the hard work of watching their crap up to Kaiser & CB.
I have trouble getting beyond the disgusting (degrading) sex tape. They’d show up to the opening of an envelope if they thought it would get them more press time. (Which makes them ‘fame’ whores, if nothing else.)

I never comment but I want to say something. Halle said that she considers herself black, which is fine with me but the way that he said that it makes my heart ache for her mother. How her mother must feel? She is a white mother that raised her child alone after her black husband abandoned her. If you consider yourself black, (like being anything other than black is a disease) why did you have a child with a white man? And you are dating another one which by the way should not be around your daughter.
PS. BTW I’m not white nor black, I’m just human.
