Britney’s people and MTV swear she’s not going to be performing at the VMAs, but MTV admits that she’s opening the awards so she’s got to be doing something. MSN has posted this video of her practicing her dance moves with backup dancers to some new music. I guess she’ll be doing a dance routine at the VMAs and not bothering to lipsync this time. She seems to be preparing well and this routine looks decent. Will it be enough for her supposed comeback though? It doesn’t look all that different from what she did last year. Britney is persistent, you can say that for her.

She does look so much better. Makes me feel like I need to go work out. If she can come back and look good after all of her mental meltdowns and cheeto/redbull attacks, I damn well should be able to shape up, too, damn it!
Never thought I’d be looking up to brit brit, that’s for sure.
Hopefully, this feeling will pass. Lol!

No, actually the routine is more energetic than it was for “Gimme More.” The footwork was slightly more complicated. If she connects with the audience (and not look glazed like she did last year), this performance could be a real comeback.

I think she looks awesome! I’m not a brit FANatic in the least and was always ready to say she wasn’t “back” yet, but I agree with notprfect she damn sure has got her ish together! Good look & Good 4 Her!!

It’s the same old stuff she’s done time & time again, nothing new, nothing exciting. But I gotta say - ever since reading about her mom’s heinous plans to release that nasty book, and what a sh*tty mother she was/is, I’m actually hoping Britney gets (keeps?) it together.
And I can’t believe that is coming out of my mouth, since I’ve always really really despised her. CURSE YOU, LYNNE SPEARS!!! YOUR PATH OF DESTRUCTION KNOWS NO LIMITS!!!

Sorry to be snarky……. but, I can’t help but notice that once Britt got rid of her kids, all of a sudden she’s “happy” and “healthy”? And people are cheering her on!! Why? Sorry, if someone declaired me an unfit Mom to my boys (and I have 3. 18, 15, and 12) I wouldn’t be able to show my face until I proved I could be a good Mom. Somebody forgot to tell Britt the NUMBER ONE RULE about having kids!!! IT’S NO LONGER ABOUT YOU!!! When I thought I would be cute and got pregnant with my oldest boy at 16 years old, my Mom told me, Mona, it’s no longer about you! It’s all about that baby for a long, long time! And she was right!!! And, it still is. So, until Britt realizes that life lesson, I could care less what she does as far as a “career:.

Mona…..For some women motherhood isn’t the be all and end all of their existence - in fact sometimes the children are better off without their mother parenting them. JJ and SP are safe and well looked after by their father and seem to be thriving, perhaps conceding custody was the best thing Britney could have done for all four of them.
There are many ways to do the right thing, not just one -
Looks like one of those really old Nsync routines. Kind of outdated if you ask me. But at least she’s doing something positive.
I’m not surprised Britney is incapable of being a mother, she didn’t exactly have the best mother herself to lead by example.

Her body is looking much better.
She seems to be staying out of trouble.Yet, that dance routine isn’t exciting. She knows the moves but she doesn’t seem that into it. It could be that it is due to the fact it only is the umpteenth rehearsal and that she’ll throw herself into the performance with full body and mind. But the way it is now, it’s not good.
As for those criticizing her motherhood: I simply think Britney never really knew what to do with her sons. She always looked as though she had no clue around them…
And yes, with a mother like hers, it’s not surprising she never appeared to have clicked into her mommy role. -

She’s just marking the performance. I’ve been in shows that I danced in & known a handful of dancers throughout high school & college who ‘marked’ routines (I can’t tell you where that phrase comes from) until it was a dress rehearsal or in the first stages of learning the dance. otherwise you’re going to exhaust yourself because I guarantee you, you’re going to rehearse that dance about a hundred times. I hope she kicks ass, I really want to see her do well at the VMAs.

I feel like the dance move is okay, but why the heck is the singer not singing? She is a singer and ever since she had her kids she is not singing. All those performances she lip synced and that is all she has been doing. I feel to truly have a comeback she needs to be singing and dancing like she has done before. That will be a comeback.

I can’t believe she has shaped up and gotten her bounce back. While her hair is still nappy, it’s amazing that she’s able to show her midriff again without those icky bulges.
