These photos are from last night’s Heart Truth’s Red Dress fashion show (it supports funding for women’s heart disease, etc). Matthew McConaughey came out to support his lady Camila Alves, who walked the runway. Ordinarily, Matthew McConaughey never comes to mind for HGF. It’s not that I find Matt particularly unattractive. He has all of the right parts and everything, and his body is great (minus the dinosaur arms), but… he’s not really “hot” to me, ever. But I have to admit, he looks really good here. Nice tan, and it doesn’t look orange. Nice outfit. His hair is… thinning but manageable. And he looks even better because he looks nice and confident and “Just Keep Livin’” standing next to Camila “Let Me Arch My Back And Show You The Angles Because I AM HIGH FASHION” Alves.
It was truly a star-studded event at Wednesday’s night’s Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection show to kick off Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. With a star-only roster of models in stunning scarlet dresses by a pantheon of designers, the front row fans included Matthew McConaughey (supporting girlfriend Camila Alves in Kaufman Franco), Bill Rancic (cheering on wife Giuliana Rancic in Marchesa) and Susan Sarandon (applauding for daughter Eva Amurri in Chris Benz).
Julianne Hough opened the upbeat show in her custom Swarovski crystal necklace and satin gown, even giving a perfect twirl mid-stage. Following waves and giggles from Audrina Patridge, in shimmering Badgley Mischka, and a perfectly-timed dropped strap of her Zac Posen gown by Dita von Teese, Alves hit the stage — and so did McConaughey (almost)!
The beaming star lunged out of his front row seat, enthusiastically snapping photos of his gorgeous girlfriend, who walked the runway with the grace and seasoned strut of a true pro. The show ended with Natasha Bedingfield serenading the crowd in a slinky Nicole Miller gown on behalf of sponsor Diet Coke. She got the fashion crowd — and Rancic! — to wave their hands in the air before the models filed out to wild cheering and a standing ovation.

So, everything was for a good cause and obviously Camila and Matt are still tight and everything’s cool, baby. Good for them. They keep their junk undercover for the most part… although there are always new photos of their kids floating around. But it doesn’t seem like a famewhore thing, unlike some kid photo-ops. But I may have to rethink that after seeing Camila almost bust something just so the camera would get her best angle (for charity).

Kaiser I totally agree with how you phrased that. About both of them actually. All the right parts, but just not that “attractive” to me.

MacConahay is one of my embarassing celeb crushes I don’t think it’s his body really It’s more the accent and the stoner attitude, he just reminds me of the hippie types I used crush on in college.
She looks fab in that dress. He’s just meh to me tho.

True or not the dirty rumors have settled over his persona like a fine layer of filth.
As for her – she’s smelly by association. Also not sure I’ve ever seen her this close up. Meh. But certainly hot from across the room.
Never trying too hard, just keep livin, no worries. They are so unHollywood and you gotta love them for that.
Off Topic: I find it strange a guy like Mathew attends a woman’s charity function to support his gal (if that’s what’s going on) but Goopy’s husband is no where to be seen for her biggest events.
When he first got famous, I thought he was cute, but then pretty quickly lost interest. I remember everyone thinking he was going to be a huge movie star, and now he’s best known for rolling around on the beach and being in lame Kate Hudson romcoms.

I had my “for some strange reason – McConaughey” crush at one point in time. Not sure why or how, but it’s all “meh” now.

I do see him as a hands on parent who is not afraid to be on the beach or around town just him with his kids. That is what makes him attractive,gotta love a man who can and will change a diaper.

Camilla Alves was the host of a reality TV show featuring hair stylists. Her English is absolutely awful, as if she didn’t even try to pronounce the words and “freestyled” her lines. I know she’s Brazillian but on some chat boards I frequent, even Brazillians complained she has a speech impediment!

That well known guy musician-i am not going to try to spell his name off memory…MM seems like a cool guy actually. He’s a bit too machismo texan for me-but he does wear his sexuality on his sleeve and he is who he is, so i gotta respect that.

I wonder if she showed up at this event without him if she would get as much coverage. May sound cynical, but she always seems to need him around to get maximum attention, because who was she without him? Just another model that nobody knew about.
I think it’s nice he takes his kids out but he doesn’t seem to play with them as much as make it an exercise opportunity.
I love most of MM’s drama movies over a lot of the romantic comedies he does. But either way, he’s completely beautiful to me. And his girlie is very attractive too.
i used to REALLY crush on him but now, not so much. he’s had ‘some work’ done, on his face, maybe eye area????? i can’t pin it down, but he just looks diff and very plastic. and i’m thinking maybe she is really his beard?
Whatever he did to his face, it is creepy. His forehead is even more immobile than Nicole Kidmans. I used to crush on him too, but his one dimensional acting turned me off.
