Victoria Beckham is sporting a new short pixie-style haircut that will surely gain popularity as women around the world emulate her style. As The Daily Mail points out, it’s similar to Halle Berry’s look as Bond girl Jinx in 2002’s Die Another Day. Victoria was previous known for her trademark bob haircut, which was pin straight and angled slightly down along her jawline. Whenever Posh changes her hair, it’s news:
Victoria Beckham is the talk of New York Fashion Week after unveiling a surprise new cut at the Marc Jacobs catwalk show yesterday.
Posh has abandoned her famous Pob in favour of a daring pixie crop, reminiscent of Hollywood star Halle Berry’s 2002 Bond Girl look.
She managed to upstage even Jennifer Lopez, who sat beside her in front row seats at the show.
It was an eventful day for the mother of three - earlier she launched her first fashion collection based entirely upon her own personal style to a handful of fashion’s elite editors.

Beckham needed publicity for her new fashion line, and it worked. Her clothing is going to have to stand on its own merits to be successful, and she’ll only be able to distract us with her changed appearance for a day or two. Posh’s DVB denim line was a bust earlier this year, with her overpriced jeans dropped from several stores due to poor sales. Her dress line may be a success though, as the high price point - $1,140 and up for a dress - is not an issue due to the small number of dresses being made, just 400. The designs are also garnering praise. The Guardian reports that the dresses are being called “beautiful,” and “dressy” by the buyers and critics at fashion week who saw the range. The dresses are described as “figure hugging” and will run in whichever high end department stores win the bidding war. They will carry the Victoria Beckham label.

I love it- it’s so chic! She has a very petite face and lovely bone structure and this cut really brings out her eyes. The only problem I see here is that her face makeup is about two shades lighter than the rest of her. Silly!

I’ve had this haircut for the last ten years AND I look better in it. She is so anorexic her facial bones look like they could slice paper. Nobody gets credit for looking good exept these useless “stars”. What a waste.

Nikki, I’m sure if any of us saw your haircut we would tell you it looks nice too. It’s kinda hard to give non-celebs “credit” for looking good on a celebrity gossip web site. But you can always check out the “dos and don’ts” section in the back of Glamour.

Wow,she has the great features for that cut. Talk about confidence! I need my long hair–it’s like my security blanket. I think short hair takes guts but it’s not a look for all women.

The only person that really looked beautiful with that haircut was Hally Berry, the rest pale in comparison.

Love it! Sexy and confident…a real departure from classic femininity but feminine nonetheless. It’ll be a bear to grow out though… Comparing her look with Hillary Swank’s new-ish look is a good example of how bones structure impacts the cut. I give it a thumbs-up.

I think that’s the look Katie Holmes was going for, only she ended up looking like a middle-aged schlump.
As for VB, I *love* her. I’ve seen her in several interviews, and she’s cute and funny and very likeable. If all you’re determining her personality on are pictures, that’s not really fair.
Granted, I wish she’d cut back on the fake tan crap, but you know what, at least she’s always put together…and sober. And gets out of cars like a lady. Should I go on?

This woman always reminds me of the cardboard cut out dolls I had when I was young. You know those you would have to cut out paper clothes with tags to attach on them. They always posed, because, well they were really two dimensional and had no brains (or other living tissue for that matter).

I love the haircut, looks well with her high cheek bones - I have a pixie cut as well. But, it’s high maintainance because it needs to be trimmed every 3-4 weeks, pita!

Anyone thinking the Beckhams would give scientology the time of day have no clue - I repeat, NO CLUE - about the Beckhams. Think of the most unlikely thing ever, multipy it by 1,000 and it will still be more likely than the likelihood of these two becoming scientos.

I have an angular face and a strong jaw (thanks to my Apache gran) and would look like a DUDE if I had this cut. She looks gorgeous here. Suits her. Sadly if this launches copycats I hope people consider it is not for everyone. it’s a lot harder to grow out than the bob. Most men I know hate hair this short on women too. Eh. She looks fantastic though.
I always thought she was blah until I saw her interviewed as well like Jen said here- I thought she was so cute and funny afterwards. Way more than I expected just seeing her in different outfits in pics:)

The Beckhams love their money too much to give it away to Scientology and Victoria seems like an intelligent woman who knows how do use these celebrities like TomKat to further boost the Beckham brand but i doubt she would let her family be sucked in by that cult.

Not sure what look she’s going for now. I ageee that Halle Berry rocked that cut because of her beautiful face. Posh looks more like Curious George, especially the way she’s baring her teeth in her smile. I think I like it better when she doesn’t smile; she looks more chic and miserable.

Cruise lets her kids hang out with his and she’s hanging out with another Scientologist, JLo. Next we will see them with Will and Jada. Other than that though you are right, I know nothing about the Beckhams.

@Anne - I’ll try! First tho’, Vic’s hanging round with Katie Cruise and JLo as friends, not scientologists. They’re people first, scientologists second.
Both Vic and David come from really normal, grounded backgrounds, both have too highly developed a sense of the ridiculous (see Vic being interviewed time and time again, she constantly takes the piss out of her herself) to ever involve themselves with something as ridiculous as scientology. She may come across as posey, pretentious, needy etc to Americans but not to those that know them both since the Spice Girl days and Beckham’s early career. They’re pretty much the same people (bar the boobs, the bobblehead and David’s enhanced goldenballs) they ever were.
Ambitious? certainly. Needy? no. And needy is the defining characteristic of a scientologist. Just won’t happen.

Check out her nose - it’s totally different. Not the little pig snout anymore. Isn’t that the oldest trick in the book? Get a haircut to take the attention away from the recent “nip and tuck”.

I think I liked VB better when she was still real-looking. That’s probably back when the Spice Girls first came out on the scene. She had actual thighs back then and a cute, if slightly homely and full, face (piggy nose be darned).
Nowadays she looks like she sleeps in a tanning bed, replaced her waist with a steel funnel, and installed 10-lb. exercise balls in what used to be a natural-looking bust.
Ah well. As long as David loves her, right?

well at first it was rather “shocking” her hair is rather dark and harsh… as a blonde, it softened up her face and brought out her beautiful brown eyes, now she looks more sooo “extreme” the cut is nice… but prefer some light highlights and go a little less on the eyeliner.. she does have beautiful bone structure and her face is good for this type of cut,… she has beautiful eyes that standout.. but I am not a fan of all the black and dark around and on her eyes… on the complexion,.. deffinately awesome tan,.. but her face makeup is wayyy to light and when wearing a dress like this… that exposes your arms, shoulders.. I would “opt” for a good match in makeup on the face as well…
she is overall a very elegant lady whom I admire..
and a trend setter at that..
go easy on her.. she is just doing something new and after all she is “human” all ladies love to change their style and look as does she…

Cute haircut but WHY does this woman NEVER smile? With all that she has in this life would it be impossible for her to look HAPPY? Or maybe she really isn’t happy with three beautiful children, a devoted and gorgeous husband and more money than she can count! Maybe if she showed a little personality then people would get off her case. Grow up and show the world you appreciate what you have in life.
