Paris Hilton is quoted as saying that her latest album is almost in the can and that she wants to do a duet with a former BFF whose musical experience vastly eclipses the remastered plagiarism that passes for her own music - Britney.
Paris Hilton fancies recording a duet with Britney Spears for her new album.
“My new album’s out soon and it would be hot if I could do a duet with Britney. It is really poppy and sounds a bit like Kylie Minogue,” the hotel heiress said.
Paris also reunited with her onetime BFF at the MTV VMAs Sunday.
“She looked beautiful,” Hilton said. “I’m so happy for her. She definitely deserves it.”
What did Hilton tell Spears? “‘I love you, I miss you, so good to see you,’” she said.

Paris and Britney hung out for a few weeks in November of 2006, during which time Britney got the brilliant idea to wear short dresses and lift them up to show the paparazzi she wasn’t wearing any underwear. Kind of like the adventurous second graders used to do for the boys, except they knew enough to wear panties at that age. These two are said to have had a falling out around December, with some accounts saying Britney called Paris up and told her she couldn’t hang out with her anymore because it was bad for her image. Paris is also rumored to have called Britney “The Animal” behind her back in reference to the fact that Britney generally follows her instincts and lacks the higher-order thinking required to follow social conventions, like trying to be subtle when letting photographers peek up your skirt.
Of course fair weather friend Paris now wants to ride on Britneys dusted-off coattails. Hopefully Britney’s people will advise her to stay well away from the woman this time. They seem to have been steering her in the right direction so far, she shouldn’t jeopardize all she’s worked for by becoming Paris’ pawn in her constant search for attention.
Paris needs whatever publicity she can get for her music career, which was thought to be a thing of the past. Despite the moderate success of her “Stars are Blind” single her album sales were low and she was dropped by her record label, Warner Brothers, last summer. That was right around the time that Warner Brothers got sued by the company that owns the rights to the song UB40 popularized, “Kingston Town,” which sounds pretty much the same as “Stars are Blind” and was out in 1990.

This is the only pictures of Paris, EVER, in which I’ve thought she actually looks pretty. Did I mention ONLY.
And concerning Brit. Good for her that she’s getting her stuff together. Her accent still annoys the crap out of me. But, it has always. Besides her extensions looking very sloppy I thought she looked great and am actually happy that she got the VMAs she did. Maybe it will set her on the right path to know she has people backing her up and thinking she’s better then what she’s been lately.
