I’ve never heard of eating for your blood type before. Does it work? I mean, it appears it does judging by Miranda… just not sure if I can believe she does anything other than the standard supermodel diet.

From a medical viewpoint, it´s total BS. Eating with consideration is never unhealthy, though, so perhaps it doesn’t matter.

Eating for your blood type is kinda like the Atkins/south beach diet. Lots of veggies, fruit, meat, dairy and whole grains.
No processed/pre packaged foods, white bread, potatoes or sugar.
It’s pretty easy diet and not hard to stick to. Lots of choices.
But I hope you like to cook, you have to make everyting from scratch, but you get used to it

She’s adorable!
And re: eating combining etc.. too complex it might seem but it’s not. There’s a book called ‘Fit for Life’ that has been reprinted for years, it’s awesome. Basically no processed foods, of course. The author is a veggie but says if you do eat meat try and eat sparingly. And never combine say, dairy with meat or any protein with a starch – simply b/c it takes your body a lot longer and spends all of it’s energy just digesting it. It’s really interesting. And eat nothing but fruit in the morning (up till noon) as that is when your body is still in the elimination cycle and is using energy on that. If ya eat a heavy breakfast your body has to use the energy to digest, and the elimination cycle is interrupted and the toxins stay in your system, (leading to weight gain, sluggishness. etc) Whee! Hell I lost 33 pounds using it and it was not remotely a fad diet book:))) It’s a lifestyle thing.
OT she seems like a sweet girl

The “eating for your blood type” diet is pretty well known in Europe

She is beautiful.
I would so wear those two minis. The metallic dress I would have to wear as a top though, way short.

Okay, maybe I’m being unfair, but I’d have trouble letting my daughter read a nutrition/diet/fitness book written by a supermodel. For one thing, Miranda Kerr has probably never had to even remotely worry about her weight, because, let’s face it, she’s one of the 1% of the population who are truly, naturally thin. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t need to exercise, of course, but given her miniscule frame, she doesn’t strike me as someone who does a lot of weight training. I could be wrong, but she’s so thin that I suspect she follows the typical supermodel lifestyle of limiting calories and maybe doing a bit of cardio. And again, I’m probably being unfair when I say someone who’s naturally thin can’t teach others about being thin — but teenage girls are SO impressionable, insecure and easily influenced by the media. Any girl who struggles at all with her weight would probably try Miranda’s advice for two weeks before getting discouraged about how long it’s going to take them to look like Miranda!

Granger, understand what you’re saying but young girls are going to look to celebs in any case and surely it’s better that they look to someone like this, where the focus is on nutrition and eating well, rather than the ‘I lost 10 stone in 2 weeks, so can you’ bullshit that so many other idiots come out with? Model she may be, thin she may be, but she still sounds quite grounded and practical.

she’s such a liar; surely her agent told her to say that. maybe the “blood type diet” book author is one of her agent’s other clients.
anyway, she’s dating Orlando Bloom, so we all know what kind of “diet” she’s on. I won’t get too crude here, but I used to work with OB when he was dating Bosworth. Let’s just say he likes them skinny and LOVES helping them stay that way.

I work for a very big LA agency (hint: three letters in the name) and heard the exact same thing as Sarah. Was discussing it with a friend today and ended up here from a google search on the very (somewhat twisted) topic…
I’ll keep my comment G-rated so it doesn’t get deleted, but let’s just say… yeah, it’s umm, a “raw” diet kinda thing lol.
If you’re still drawing a blank, there’s a recent SNL digital short with Molly Sims and Jamie Lynn Sigler which features the main (only?) ingredient of that diet…
Right when you think the fashion and entertainment industry can’t get any weirder, it does.

Eating for your blood type DOES actually work!! Although I don’t know why she’s writing a book about it, since there already is a professionally written one (like properly researched by several scientists/nutritionists). My mom has it and when she started following it she lost a lot of weight!

I do believe all the ideas you’ve offered in your post. They are really convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for beginners. May you please prolong them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.
