About coloring a little girl’s hair: I live in Vandalia Michigan and there are at least 4 little girls in 1st and 2nd grade who have their hair done (dyed or highlighted). Now, I probably wouldn’t do it to my daughter unless she was DEEPLY interested in getting it done, but that’s more of an upkeep issue than that I think it’s bad parenting. There are WAY worse things than coloring your kid’s hair or having cameras around. Ummm…ex-addict, violent dad anyone? And it’s so nice that he has an opinion on how to raise the kids. When he’s all grown up, maybe Denise will even listen to him.

Oooh, so exciting! I actually watched every single episode on YouTube one night, and while it was sometimes painful and I did cringe a lot, it wasn’t THAT bad….especially with a beer in one hand. I really didn’t think it was gonna get picked up for a second season, but at least now I have something to look forward to.

I don’t think I recall ever seeing a pic of Denise’s children happy . I can’t imagine who would want to watch her show, but then again people stop to gawk after a car accident and Denise is a train wreck. jmo

Jess- working from home as in working on her reality show which is mostly filmed from home. Instead of on a “set” for a movie or regular show.

Suzzie – I’ve seen this kind of hair lightening a LOT on my friends’ kids and it can come from a summer of playing outside and swimming in a pool. Maybe it’s natural lightening grown out, showing darker roots.

At least one can hope.

Even if she is lightening her child’s hair, I think she is doing far more damage to them with her “peppery language” used in their presence and the fact that she is constantly calling herself fat. Her daughters will pick up on that quick.
