Personally, I think that’s yucky. I wouldn’t want to be touched, let alone kissed by her. But that fan really seemed to enjoy being so close to his idol, so there’s no harm done, right? They go to such concerts to get exactly that and so she’s just giving her audience what it wants. No harm, no foul.

It’s just a stage show. People expect this from her. And I personally do not have a problem with it. I would like to see the pictures or a video of this though.

I was at a Psychedelic Furs concert and they were doing “Pretty in Pink”. Richard Butler, the lead singer, jumped off the stage and into the crowd (small venue). We locked lips and it was the best kiss of my life…I’ll never forget it!!! He could have grabbed anything he wanted to, with no complaints from me…
You should see what Prince does at his shows. For one tour, he actually had a bed onstage and was humping an invisible girlfriend. 2-2-SEXY!

Way I heard it Justin was supposed to rip the outer layer of her outfit off just as he sung that line “gonna have you naked by the end of this song” but the red lace thing underneath was supposed to stay in place. I also saw an interview where they asked Megan Mullaly from Will & Grace about it and she said she saw Janet backstage at the end of that show and that she was crying and pretty upset about it.
Still think she got hung out to dry over what is essentially just a boob and as others have pointed out this is not the first time she’s done something like this (the crotch-grabbing and touch feely) at a concert so I’m not sure why this is news.

I agree. Nipplegate was so rediculous. The fact that it destroyed her career is terrible. The fact that Justin Timberlake WAS THE ONE WHO RIPPED IT OFF and then kept claiming it was all her and that he didn’t know anything about it and his career went unscathed -especially after all she did for him like appearing on his album and giving NSYNC a big break… wow, what a slap in the face. Our society is so sexist.

I am very keen on Janet Jackson so her leaving the music industry will be a huge loss. Their family has had a tremendous impact on music from since I am able to recall.
