There were a million different parties and events this weekend in LA, all about the Oscars. QVC even hosted an event, something about red carpet style. Kim Kardashian was there, and Ol’ Katface decided to let other stars have the red carpet glory, so she wore these super-unflattering harem pants. That’s exactly what they are – high-waisted harem pants that look good on absolutely NO woman, especially not a woman who has any kind of thickness in the thigh-butt area. I never stop being amazed at Kim’s lack of style – and her promotion as some kind of “fashion girl” is equally astounding.
Jennifer Lawrence was at the QVC event too. I’m pretty sure Jennifer is wearing a nightgown. It’s a pretty nightgown, but a nightgown none the less.
Helena Bonham Carter was at the same event! Do you think HBC and Kim Kardashian interacted? That would have been amazing. Anyway, HBC looked cute, I thought. I’m pretty sure she’s worn this dress before, though.
Zoe Saldana at the Impact Awards. I don’t care for the dress. I think it looks kind of cheap.
Michelle Rodriguez at the Impact Awards. I’ll admit it – I love Michelle. I think she’s a really underrated actress, and I love how tough she is. The closeup of her is unforgiving, but I love this dress on her. She looks so pretty.

Jennifer Lawrence needed to walk around the block in those shoes before she red-carpeted them! Those are the toes of Diddy’s nightmares. Maybe those balloon pants were the only thing K.K. could find to cover her fat ass last night, and her shoes look like they’re from Payless.

I don’t like Kim’s outfit, but I disagree they are harem pants — harem pants have tied bottoms and are even more voluminous. Modified harem-pants at most.

@Kari – OK. Scroll up. Look at the name of the site. “Celebitchy.” WTF did you expect? I and others who post here are generally not in the public eye. We are not paid to be. We are not given gowns and shoes to wear. We do not have stylists and makeup artists. We are not presenting a “brand” at a $1000/plate event. I give celebs a pass at how they choose to look in their private time, but walking a red carpet and posing for photos means that it’s fair game on what you’re wearing. On the rare occasion I walk a red carpet, I put my best face forward and expect comments to be made if I look ridiculous. Why should these people be exempt? if they want to wear sweats and t-shirts to the grocery store, good for them. I’ll never pass judgment. But for a red carpet event – bring on the damned snark.
I love Michelle and I am not saying that because she can kick my ass but she is a tough, sexy woman.

I was so shocked in that close up picture of Kim! It was just so obvious how fake the hair is. (There’s nothing wrong with wigs & hair pieces, I really enjoy playing with them. But you have to do it right, or it just looks like hell.)

With others I am stunned that Kartrashian shows up at these events and is treated apparently like royalty – doesn’t anyone have the balls to kick her plastic brainless body back to the 24 hr strip tease parlor where she belongs. Kim actually looks good in that outfit. The red lipstick is a bit overpowering but otherwise she looks really pretty. I’d love to know how she gets her hair so shiny.

She gets it so shiny by wearing fake wigs. xD If you take a good look at the close-up picture, you’ll be able to tell that it’s a wig/piece of some sort.

I have a pair of harem pants that I use as PJs, and they are seriously the most comfy pants I’ve ever worn. I don’t wear them outside the house, though.
I prefer not to post pics of myself on the internet, but right now, I’m wearing a Type O Negative t-shirt that used to be black, but is now gray(ish), black yoga pants, sock monkey slippers, my hair is in a pony tail, I have on no makeup, and I don’t remember if I showered after the gym this morning. Snark away, I’m not going to the Oscars or any of the parties this year (went to a party last year). No one’s paying me to look this good.
Actually, a celeb who looks 100% all the time would be Dita Von Teese. That woman is dressed to the nines even going to her pilates class. You will never see a photo of Dita in sweats or jeans.
But yeah, Kim is basically the wealthiest reality star out there, and at a whole, the Kardashian clan made around $65 million. So why on earth can’t the whole damn clan ever wear something that isn’t horribly ugly or tacky?
